Oh giggles, I don't know how to point it out delicately, but Virginia spells Wolf with two o's. And I find the quote there--while characteristic of her correspondence--ironic, given the mode of her demise.
“We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.”

I'd like to be corrected if I made a spelling or typographical error in a highly visible place...and I think Giggles gets that. It's just a gentle nudge with the toe...not really a kick.

Well, you know what they call me. And it's only mostly tongue-in-cheek. I like your new one better, though some sort of visual aide may be in order.

that would be faboo, RG. It's been so long since I've let anyone else cut my hair... I've been doing it myself for, oh, 6 years?? Gets old, after a while.

speaking of hair, time to go rinse this dye out.

back in a bit!

It's just an attempt to make you feel petty for doing it. Don't let him get to you. I don't know if you've noticed this, but men are jerks.

In order to completely understand human relationships, it is necessary to understand (as Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. points out) only two things:

1: Men are jerks.

2: Women are psychotic.

Once you've grasped those two simple pieces of information, all else becomes clear.

Aren't you supposed to be heading down to the old folks' home for bingo night? Just make sure you don't let them try to count the walker or oxygen cart as an article of clothing.

Well Vonnegut is THE source for the total skinny on human relationships, right?
Point #1- I know someone who would tell Mr V to fuck off cuz he really doesn;t know.
Point #2- Nope, disagree with Mr V again

Heli: Lighten up.... V is a satirist....

However, being a 'fool' and 'court jester', he is correct on several points... being...

a)Men are jerks
2)Women are psychotic...

Other than that, he's out to lunch....
