Of course, rg, so why say it's all bullshit? Modern science has too long thought traditional methods were bullshit and hasn't bothered with it. However, things are changing- in Vancouver the hospital has a wing dedicated to Chinese medicine- diet, accupuncture, the whole bit. Can science explain how a needle goes into the chi point and moves stagnant energy to help heal someone? Not really, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. Ask someone from China.

Re- the spirutual charging, yes I agree, and yet, if that's what someone wants to do, then that's what they will do. I won't judge them to be wrong if that's how they want to make their living.

And so what about artists? What about preachers (or any of those) who get paid to disseminate spiritual, uh, spiritualness (tired!).

yes, it does. that is why most people who are truly gifted in that way do not do it for a living. they do it in addition to whatever they do to get along in the world...much like many artists.

I'd embellished a few days ago to say I'd been
on a "vision quest".

Actually, I'd checked myself in to the local
"Crazy Camp for Hesitant Suicides" from Monday
through Friday last week.

shot in pint glass, then guinness on top of that
