(rolling into the bar like a fuzzy black tumbleweed and hopping on the bar)

Well, I don’t’ know about you, but I’m glad that WWII is finally over. How’s about a beer, eh?

Did you notice that today’s unpleasantness seemed to coincide with the dates of the second big one?

Seems that happened around 1860 or so too. Wasn’t' paying attention during the early twentieth century dates.

Don't worry, Kitty. We like cats. They're almost as moody and free-willed as we are.

Thanks for the drinks. We're just going to take this table over here.

Don't mind us.

I am doing allright. I have managed my third sickness in the last three months. This one is nasty and comes with a fever that barely allows me upright. I am determined to be gone with it and then hopefully be immune to any future viruses my son brings home from daycare.

I fear it's too late... I've been a Deep House junkie for years with the CD compilations. I discovered a few months ago that my favorite CD shop has an upstairs... How did I miss it I wonder? Either way, I go up and what do I see? bins and bins and bins... I got weak in the knees.

I could easily point you to online stores that will feed your need. I spend hours online listening to audio samples.

Oh, I’ve found a few myself, but would welcome anything you’ve got to add. I’ve had a very real interest in spinning tunes for years, but as with most things I’ve ever done it’s sits in the back of my mind until one day something brings it to the front and then I’m all over it. But I’m patient too. Still waiting for a couple of direct drive Technics to find me. It may take another year, but that’s fine.

I wouldn't be the first.

There's a wickeg grin accompanying that, by the way. Good night then. You've been working hard today, unlike me. So who's still hanging around?

Whew... back from the "meeting". Was more of a social meet'n'greet. Went well. Looks like we'll be doing business soon.

Yaaaaaaay!!

Got any Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on tap?

OK, I'm back, but just for a bit. I'm dogged tired after having walked from mission and 22nd to my hotel (20 some blocks). But it was a good evening spent with one of my Uber campbuddies. Tried to go to the Odeon, but it was closed. Oh well, had a good time anyway.

The Odeon was closed?
That's strange.

Locked up tight as a drum. We walked back to 22nd or so to a place that just had a sign labelled "Bar" exactly what we needed. Then I took the couple mile hike back to the hotel afterward. Not much different than walking from one end of the playa to the other.
