M, it was okay. We didn't get anything really monumental done. I'm one of two people who seem to really be stepping up to the plate. I'm trying to research venues to have a weekend event. We did get some things better into focus though about what exactly we want to do. Are you on the Yahoo list? They were going to post the minutes again.

Hiya to you too giggles. Oh, and it's more of a blue green pastel color. Key Lime would be a little to vibrant for me to wear. Yikes! I'm color sensitive.
Oh, and it's just my job to debate. I was on the debate team in high school for a little while. Have to show that some of us aren't intimadated by big words

Sounds like a lovely color too, MIss Blue (and neither could I ever wear lime green. Color sensitive myself, tend to go for earth tones).
{yawn cough cough cough} Ouch! Okay, nine o'clock I'm deeming an acceptable bedtime tonight (after I drink my old-time quack medicine which really heals and does not make rich the healthcare industry). I maybe back later if my body decides differently, but here's hoping. Good night, ya'll.

It wasn't you or giggles that really made me decide to go away for a while, it was primarily annoyance at helitack. I have little patience for people who cloak themselves in belligerent ignorance and think it's a virtue. It's that whole provincial stereotype that people paint themselves with.
“We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.”

(comes staggering into the bar in a stupor)
Good God Almighty, I'm buzzin just off the fumes of Patron...
for the record, I believe in magic, helitack. I see a lot more magic in the world than most people. I have lain on my belly and seen the divine in the smallest of flowers.
So there Ranger... Pffftttt (grin)
And I'm still logical about it too... how can this be?
(sits at bar to ponder this paradox a moment. Remembers a song he heard through a dream night before last, carried on a beautiful voice...)
sing a song of kevlar, a pocket full of dye
four and twenty burners baked in my eye
when the eye is open the burners start to sing
isn't that a tasty dish to set before my bling

I don't cloak myself in anything. I am belligerently ignorant, when I want to be. Especially about magick things which defy logic, things that people find comfort in, things that don't need explaination other than the fact that it feels good. When I don't answer a visitor question and ask them to be quiet, close their eyes and listen to the wind, a rational, logical explaination of the "why" of the wind would not allow them to "see" the wind, to experience its essence.
The magick that one experiences when someone special says four words. Just four, that can change a life. Make the other person feel something that needs no explaination. No drivel psychobabbel necessary. The same thing goes when that person gives you "the look". It's priceless.
So I will go on being belligerently ignorant.

I hear you heli. sometime logic, as much as I like it, keeps you from seeing the forest for all the trees in the way. By being belligerently ignorant, sometimes I think we are more wise... wise with our hearts instead of our minds. So I will go on being belligerently ignorant.
Hi Z, how're you tonight?
