About how big of thing are you thinking about ?

Would this be with Beads or just metal or what do you have in mind?

Big enough to handle plants growing on it. I couldn't say the exact gauge. Ummm ... I want to be able to have it almost like a candlabra.

oh, and just metal. I've thought about copper, which would weather and look cool. But I'm not sure yet.

Copper would be good, it's easy to get pipe, tubing, and different gauge wire at your local home depot. The heaver gauge ground wire might work well. I'm not sure because I haven't looked but they might also have a really soft silver solider called stays bright solider you could use but you could also probably just use regular tin solider like is used in plumbing, and a propane torch that you could for sure get at home depot. the biggest thing to remember is to sand the surfaces you intend to solider and flux the area and that the molten solider will fallow the heat so you want to heat in front of where you want the solider to flow. You also don't want to rely on the solider to bridge big gaps, the surfaces have to be pretty close together, because the real strength is in the metal not the solider.

Hmmm, thanks. I'm going to have to look around at wire when I get some money.

Oh and it's better to hold things in position with something that isn't going to move, more often than not if you try to hold it by hand or using pliers or vise grips you'll wiggle the joint before it completely cools and the joint will break.

nighty night, blue. I'll do some earnest work on your limerick card. Get that baby finished.

hmmmmm, how I would love a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps. Damn the Lord's Day all to pieces. How is it we stand for this no selling of alcohol on sunday business, anyway? What's the matter with this country? It's my right to be drunk on a sunday afternoon if I want to, dammit!!!

There was just a story on that in the seattle times yesterday. Lemme find the link. Washington might start liquor sales on sunday soon. (i hope)

And in there it said
There are 32 states, including Idaho and Oregon, that allow liquor sales on Sundays.
So i guess it seems we are in the wrong state.

It just means if all the Seattle people would visit more often they would find themselves drunk on Sundays more often. Hmm Shall we all cultivate an experiment. We should call it the Seattle to Portland Annebriation Project.

i'm good i'm an hour in to another classic movie that is just wonderful. Perhaps a small confession I like these classic movies for more than just the movie itself.. but the look into the costuming and the dresses of the time.

Ghost and Mrs. Muir right now. So wonderful

Oh, giggles, funks come, funks go. Hope you feel better as the day goes on. I'm pretty good, I guess. Been cleaning and doing laundry most of the day. Woke up with a headache and kinda started things out slow. Doing better now though.

Yepper. Can't have the up days without the down ones. Hey, I had that headache all day yesterday; I think mine was associated with a front moving through; perhaps the front is in your neighborhood today?
