Z, you'll be disappointed to hear that I didn't get the job at the glass place. I'm disappointed as well, but oh well. Guess it wasn't mean't to be. Now I just have to figure out where to look for something else.

I'm going to pass on that it seems a little like phone sex,..... but mostly because my clothing is boring

Do you know what you'll be doing for the café, or what hours and days you'll be on duty?

Oh god, I don't think so. There is nothing up here. At least nothing interesting or anything that pays decent. I can't go back to another mindless job. I just can't do it emotionally. I'm already dreading going to the wine store on Thursday.

Phone sex??! No! i actually just thought of it as a great ice breaker... personally, every last damn thing i have on has a great background story and i thought other people must have great, enlightening story behind their adornments...

and i'll be co-ordinating volunteers pre-playa and sitting at the volunteer desk mornings or middays onplaya.

you want some shifts?

tish, unfortunatly all of my clothes are very boring. The jeans I'm wearing where bought in Nov. because I didn't have a whole lot of pants. They are strecthy and big, because my ass gained fifteen pounds since aug. cause of my broken leg.

I wish I was wearing a gin & tonic

Or just a gin & tonic, eh!

i'll let you sign up onplaya...if you bring me whiskey for my coffee...
what kinda beer did you want?

the 'weirdest story"...hmmm. i guess that's the sweater:
i got it at a 'naked lady party', where a bunch o gals bring the stuff they don't want anymore and dump it all in a pile and then go nuts trying on everything and stashing what they want...it is a gorgeous light green cable knit, and it caught my eye right away. i touched it and it had this amazing soft, slippery feel to it (some kind of silk). so i nabbed it and took it home. after a few washings, though...it got kinda rough - not so soft. and when i was breaking up with my ex i dreamt about it. about holding on to something that had felt so good when i got it, but had changed, and didn't feel so good anymore, but i kept it because of what it had felt like. knowing it would probably never feel like that again... i left the relationship; but still have the sweater.

Hey hey, don't feed Shamu to much gin, it was a real drag trying to help him home last time he got to drunk to make it by himself.

You never know it could soften up again, the sweater not the ex,. different detergent, washing temperature, age,... but it seems like as it is it kind of serves an additional function besides keeping you warm.

That's a good tired to feel. I love feeling like I've really acomplished something. It's nice to be able to see that acomplishment as well.

I hope something turns up as well. I need to make some money soon. I've got way more debt than I'm comfortable with.

Ah, I gotta go to bed.
Here I am proposing toasts hoping
all of our tits be aimed just so.

Carry on, and keep smiling!
