General discussion about the return of the ePlaya!

Welcome back, everybody! We've been banging around under the hood a bit and, you may see, we have already made a few changes to the board. We're planning even more, but we want to include you in the process as we go along. This thread's made for general discussion, to keep in touch while we wait for the return of the other ePlaya areas. Naw, stuart dinged me on 3playa for being too broad. You'd think by now he'd know that I don't take myself that seriously. So I feel like I was called out in front of the big boys. Oh well. I really do need to get a life.

I haven't been able to log on to 3-playa since about 2am, wonder if there are technical problems or they kicked me out for not posting enough.

I would have thought there would have been more folks here for the great unveiling

Koosh has had problems w 3playa too, but no, I don't. And I morbidly keep logging in again so you'd think that they'd show up for me.

I thought the new changes would make this into the 3Playa annex. I was wrong. Not only did the admins give us plonk but they gave us Ignore User to stop private harassment. This is better than anything people asked for. It took a lot longer than expected but the first impression is it's worth it.

we'll see how the community rebuilding goes, who will come back and who won't, and what new interesting people come to join us. It still comes down to people treating each other with with a little civility and respect.

The old bar saw a lot of use. Perhaps some remodeling is in order.

if ya'll read the sticky announcement about the dawning of the new eplaya, you'll see what the buddy list and such does. That's where I found out.

Somehow I get am feeling a bit happier today. I am still recovering from a weekend of utter debauchery. It will be nice to have our bar again even if we need to start from scratch.

you know, maybe it's just me, but I don't necessarily see this as an opportunity to REcreate what was, but instead to create something new. So, while the bar was nice, perhaps it's best to sit tight and see what organically comes?
