A decompression might be a better idea anyway, but I don't know if there would be all that much more time to work towards it as a really big deal. I know I'm starting to focused on what I'm going to do for costumes, and props and stuff for Burning Man and feel like time is getting short for that. To add a lot of organizational work for the decompression seems overwhelming,...
I think I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed by life these days so I have a low threshold right now. hopefully I'll get over it once I've been in a new job for a while.

I was trying on for size and gave a report to the community at large. I would never plonk GE for real. Or to avoid another discussion of careless sweeping statements, I'd be hardpressed to imagine plonking GE for real.GuinivereElise wrote:I agree. (you know we were just trying it on for size, right? Fine... I understand. I can take it. *sniff*
boring and no play is just what I've always wanted. It causes me to loose focus when I'm working on metal pieces for outfits, but have it your way.
Hey Heli... You can be my buddy!!
I'll even help you build another hot tub.

Aka you can't step into the same river twice. . .GuinivereElise wrote: ALL I AM SUGGESTING (and I'll ask you to keep in mind that a suggestion is hardly exuding power over someone), if you will be kind enough to allow me to repeat myself, is that we don't simply attempt to recreate exactly what existed before this, because, as we continue, we will find that it's IMPOSSIBLE to do, as there have been some changes made. We're just setting ourselves up for disaster, if we think we can just make a carbon copy of the old eplaya, because it has CHANGED. ALL I'M SUGGESTING is that we allow ourselves to change along with it. Just as it's growing, so too must we, else we find ourselves being left behind.

I think that in the long run you treat the undeserving with dignity and compassion anyway as best you can because that keeps you from being a petty nasty person.bullD wrote:some people don't deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion, in my opinion. In fact, I would say there are many people who don't deserve that from me. This is not a bad thing, just reality.

I'd love to get teh clip off the show that has Blinky hanging from the line and blinking each eyeball in succession, but I'm guessing that that would take more memory that I'm allowed. Even apart from copywrite issues.Tancorix wrote:I heart those Apokiliptika signs.

You could probably get it under the limit, if you could find the frames to animate together in a GIF. Copyright wouldn't really matter, since you're not gaining anything from it and they're not losing anything. Fair use.
