Hey spanky, firstly, man I’m gonna pat your back again for your work. I’m sure it's nuts just under the calm surface of this place. And on the idea of an edit button, for what it’s worth, the Transformous bbs has an edit button available to the most recent post. And I’ve used it once or twice to edit typos only. I agree that an always present edit button may not be a good idea. I can see how it might encourage knee-jerk posts with the idea that, “Well, I can always come back and change it later.” No, no... read, then reread everything you’re gonna post and think about it before you press the button. But an edit for a short duration could be handy. Just my thoughts on it.

I have many reasons for it, but its more important for the general user base to say if they find it helpful or not.

i think i qualify as general user base... quit snickering... and i would love an edit just to fix lame typos. it is possible to make it short term, yes? and even to leave a notation that something was edited? yes.

We must have some of the same planets aligned in the same way or sumthin', cuz after falling into the deepest pit of lonely, broke desperation in January, I am now in a saweet new living situation with a great friend and fellow single mom - sharing cooking, cleaning, booze, friendship and general support; money is all stable and flush; work is flowing easy-cheesy; and i have met a fantastic guy and have reawakened my both my inner teenager and my inner vixen, who i thought was long gone... i am happyhappyhappy!

There is no way I'm going to get out to the playa early enough to set these up though. The BMorg wants them up no later than Monday if we want to get the whole grant. So the plan is to start assembly on Thursday. We've also needed to coordinate time with the cranes onsite, so that's probably a bigger factor really.

Cool. We're hoping they'll locate them just off the esplanade near wherever we end up, which will be with Asylum/Ubercarney. Hopefully by Sunday the major work will be done, so they should be easy to find. Just look for 3 20 foot tall dutch style windmills.

Yeah, I think they want to have things ready earlier this year. Plus, the windmill burn will be on Thursday I think, with Friday as an alternate if the weather isn't right
