Hmmm, just peeking in.

[/i]Stocks the fridge with more Twisted Tea, and leaves some lovely Burgundy and Pinot Noir behind the bar for tomorrow (they go well with ham).

Ooooo, I got a free bottle of wine from the boss for the holiday. Well, almost free. Picked up that fifty dollar bottle I've been eyeing for awhile for 8 bucks! We had it on sale for $30, then they boss gave $20 or the free bottle plus my 20% discount on the remaining balance. So I got a fucking 90% discount! I'm loving these perks! Plus, I got to try for different kinds of wines while at work. To bad it's still kind of boring.

Bunarchy was a lot of fun. Had people wondering what was going on.

Are you having BBCode problems too? I noticed a stray /img tag at the end of your post.

But it was very tasty. Stuffed myself like usual at family get togethers. Darn my family for always having appetizers and lots of dishes with the main course and dessert. (Then darn my cousins and sisters for looking so skinny! Yes, I'm jealous.)

How's it going with you Z? Sorry to hear you didn't get the MCAD job. But if you think about it, you would have always been working at the end of August. So it definatly wasn't mean't to be.

Urban Bean, it's in uptown on 33rd and Bryant. They have a smoking room that has really good ventilation so I don't come home reaking. Only bummer is that they are only open till eleven. A lot of the regulars I used to see at Uncommon Grounds now hang at Urban Bean. Quite place, lots of studiers. Free wireless internet. I'd really like to get a laptop one of these days...

Sorry, went off on a tangent there.

Well, it doesn't matter now because it wasn't mean't to be. 'Sides you said the pay wouldn't be great there anyways.

I'd like a laptop too, but it will be awhile, even after I get a job before I feel flush enough to spend the money

You can get them for pretty cheap now a days though. A friend of mine just bought one and he got a pretty good deal. Though right now, I can't remember what he paid.

I'm can't say I wasn't disappointed but I do trust the fates and there has to be something truly Steve-like out there for me.

If I keep putting on weight I'd fit the image of a comic book store guy, maybe retail could be my thing after all.

Wow, it's quiet in here. Only 2 people, no sleeping cats or the usual stuff going on. Time to go exploring elsewhere.

As lovely as that image is, I think you'd get bored and be unhappy working retail. You need to be doing something. Not sitting around waiting to help people.

Yea well god's work is boring and I'm sick of it. I haven't done anything creative in a few weeks now. I think I'm slipping back into the well worn rut. Work, go get coffee, do nothing productive, start drinking more, be bored and unhappy.

Speaking of giant rabbits with weird presents, it seems like the sort of night it would be really good to see nipples.

Now that’s a weird sentence, if you don't have a clue.

Well, I've got tuesday off and it's supposed to be in the 60's. So I think I'll go find something to do outside before the meeting.

Ahh, your such a sweetie for worrying. But I can't do anything this year or I'll suffer the rath of the 'rents. Plus, my spring fever isn't going to be as bad this year as it was last. Last year I was in a really low spot emotionally. This year I'm just a little bored.

Might be funny to have a bunch of CDs of crickets chirping to take to the event and have a few camps sprinkled around the city slip one in a boom box for a few of the wee hours.
