Blue strides in through the back door with a big box of booze and beer, all of which are "Your Favorite".

If theres one perk of working at a wine and liquor store it's the drinking at work.

Ooo and the fact I get a discount on booze. Okay so theres more than one perk.

Hmmm, I wonder what this tosseling lump under the NEB could be?

Blue takes a seat at the bar, lights up a smoke and watchs the interesting movements of the NEB.

Well, sensei, if you still want it, here are the mimosas. I'm not a short order cook, so how about eggs in coffee?

Spunik, let me ask a stupid question.

I know you were an UberCarny (sp?) last year. Was that the group that put up the "RoasterCoaster?

Yes Sensei. We were the roaster coaster camp. But not this year. The coaster is not coming back to the playa.

Hi Z, I had a great day. I spent the whole afternoon working on one of our half size windmills. I finished the base! I am so happy, and it worked like I planned. Now I need to work on the turret and how to attach it to the base. We've got a spring party (with burn) planned for May 21, so I don't have a lot of time to finish this.

There are 2 other bases of different design. We're going to see which one works out best and then replicate that one full size.

Other than windmills of your mind will the finished on generate power of noise ( I mean music of the winds ), I know you've talked about it but I can't remember what you said

We're considering how to make them generate power and what to do with that power. We'd like to light them at night, but there tends to be almost no wind at night, so we're thinking about batteries. Time will tell. I'm not involved in this aspect of them though, just general construction.

Hey Zule! Long time, no see... You haven't given up 3playa completely have ya'?

Sput, that camp was probably the bestest theme camp ever. I never set foot in it. I didn't have to, really. I just spent a whole lot of time staring. It was amazing to look at, slightly (if not absolutely) dangerous and sexy as hell (what with the go-go cages).

You can and should be very proud of what you crazy bastards accomplished out there. Really. That place stayed with me, and the pics of it made my friends jaws drop. You set the bar pretty fuckin' high with that one, that's for sure.

I can't wait to see this windmill contraption!

I'll have a quick shot of Patron, please. Let's toast Tish, whaddya say?

I lurk 3playa mostly by the time I get caught up reading ( and appreciating the pictures ) the time I have to spend there is over.

I too really loved the post-apocalyptic circus of the roaster coaster.
