Actually we prefer silver, gold or platinum cards. Can't charge shit with a green card...

Have a sign saying, "There or may not be a porty-potty cam in this porty-potty." Plant this sign in front of every porty-potty in Black Rock City.

Yes Porta potty cams are out this year.

But I would like to see someone come up with a tracking device that can be placed on a law enforcement agencies vehicles. Something Cheap that can be hear on a FM radio (most tracking devices are audible on FM in case you didn't know). Any way you can tune in and by the sound and intensity we know when we can take a pee. Sounds Good eh!

All Robot should be banned from BM, Can't trust the maker can't trust bot!

Felony photography?
Even with consent?
Well the Feds are missing out on a great source of revenue. I've seen plenty of cameras snapping away but nary an arrest made nor ticket handed out.

Actually you can photograph them and video tape them. What you cant do is use the filed footage for profit. Though it is always more respectful to ask the people you are shooting if it is ok with them that you do shoot them.

My wife and I were forced to leave an attraction last year because some asshat in burmuda shorts felt he had every right to point his video camera any direction he wanted. Considering we were there first and well I'm a bit of a hot head it really pissed me off. Couldv'e been cause I was coming down too but still. I didn't think video cameras were allowed.

If someone does this, ask them nicely to stop. If they don't stop, let a ranger or BORG official know.

From the official rules- and these apply to everyone, not just press
(http://www.burningman.com/press/pressRandR.html)
"If any participant asks you to stop filming, you must stop immediately. If you continue to photograph or film, you face the possibility of being escorted from the event."

"You must ask for permission before photographing or filming any individual participant who might be recognizable. Crowd shots are exempt except when the artist, performer, and majority of participants request no cameras or filming."

As is clear in my sig, I carry a camera a lot. I also get permission to shoot. Respect is a nice gift.

Post by Iago » Wed Jul 20, 2005 6:44 pm

Often, Robots will wear bermuda shorts as a disguise. I would keep a keen eye out for them. They don't seem to give a shit who they piss off... and they are also known to hand out a lot of plastic trinkets too..?

No the law stipulates those camera that are meant to be consealed without the subjects klywledge and which purpose is to prevent the subject from discovering the camera and in which, a subject was assured confidentiality by theme camp or the MBORG.

A participate is legally able to photography as according to the laws of the Burning Man BMORG.

I rest my case your honor!
