New burner - back to the family

Post by Dave Rockin » Wed Apr 27, 2005 4:31 pm

I'm new, but I've been wanting to go to my first burn for a while...this is going to be the year! Got the time off work and I'm making my plans!

I hail from Toronto, a writer, a filmmaker, goth/vegan/hippie, dom, freak, professional, lover, traveler, seeker, finder of joy and wonder in the everyday. I've been to Dead shows and raves and felt the community there. Looking forward to my first Burning Man to see what it's really like.

Maybe I'll sign up at the Costco Wholesale Soulmates Outlet...maybe I'll find my Sugar Magnolia!

Looking to get a blast of what I've been missing - get back to the "tribe" and the people I feel (I know) are like a family to me.

Hi Dave! Best of luck on your first burn. You might browse this thread to find some other Toronto peeps: http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic. ... highlight=

And you might want to check out the regionals boards to find your fellow Torontoians.
It's what you make it.
