I will keep everyone updated on the running total and everyone is welcome to come by and visit their contributions. Please send them to: Dr. Pyro/PO Box 173/Penryn, CA 95663.

Doc
I was channel surfing the other day and saw a commercial for barbies with light up fairy wings.

This is becoming disturbingly self-referential. Although, I don't see them marketing a fully playafied barbie in my lifetime.

Well, they certainly ought to! Naked, red eyes, dehydrated, flaming on shrooms, sticking a heel to the groin of frat boyz, sucking down yet another glass of wine, twitching because their E is not having the desired effect, turning down another campmate for a brief and meaningless affair, bitching about the dust, pueling about this not being at all like at home, how Burning Man was so much better last year, and that real burners would never come in an RV. Yup, I can certainly see where there would be a market for that!!!

Yeah, but mattell doesn't like to sell fiesty.

Although, how they can delude themselves that their product is wholesome is beyond me.

BARBIE DEATH CAMP & WINE BISTRO COLLECTION UPDATE #3

Thanks to our first international contribution, the number of Barbies and thier ilk collected to date: 15! I would like to thank Grizelda for her/his nice contribution of a brunette Barbie with a tooth blacked out, tattoos tastefully displayed, and completely naked to add to our little "holiday camp". Grizelda hails from Nepean, Ontario Canada which, after looking it up in my atlas, is just outside of Ottawa and appears to be a rather large city, for any of you who care. But the fact remains, thank you very much for your kind contribution and e-playans, keep those Barbies (and anything else you think should be displayed in, uh, an art exhibit of this nature) coming!

You're welcome, Dr. Pyro. I bought her on an impulse in a second hand junk store just cause she was kinda freaky looking, then had no idea what to do with her. You seemed like someone who might have an idea.

A wee question. I may have come into possession of some barbie furniture (http://www.toysinthemail.com/th_barbie- ... er-set.jpg), is that also desireable or just plain dolls and no nonsense. It is yours if you want it

I'm sure Doc would accept the furniture. He could always tie barbies to it, for instance.

Now that I think of it, I'm cutting the skullcap off tonsure barbie's head, but am not quite sure what I'll have bursting out of it.

DougalD, we would welcome the addition. In the past we have been gifted everything from the well-known Barbie Corvette to a Barbie airplane (who knew?). Two years ago we were even sent six director chairs (of which only three remain) which we use as sexual props. So our imagination can run wild if given the proper motivation. Send it along!

Exactly what will happen to my Barbies if I send them? Can I just bring them with me in suitcase, provided I do not get labeled as a Barbie Terrosist at the airport!!

Do you want anything Barbie, or just the Dolls?

Thanks,

Any thing Barbie, up to and including awful german songs about her.

I Have discovered that Barbies (or at least this counterfeit barbie I'm working on--not a knock off a counterfeit) take to nail polish painting very well. She now seems like an outerspace creepy armoured vixen in a uniquely disturbing way. I will be bringing her and her sisters in all their colored glory. I'm up to 7, but I think I stashed 3 more someplace.

Scored three barbies this afternoon. They look to good. It may take a little work to get them in shape for the Good Doctor Pyro.

BARBIE DEATH CAMP & WINE BISTRO COLLECTION UPDATE #4:

Barbie collected from my friends and supporters on the eplaya and 3playa to date: 16! I would like to thank Princess Honey B for her donation of a talking Barbie. Too bad we can't reprogram her to say blindly obscene things, but maybe in '06. Thank you for all of your support, we do take anything you would like to add to our little "holiday camp", come by for an Otter Pop or wine, and am looking forward to seeing what other kind of dastardly deeds you can inflict upon Barbie. We have had some real winners!

Doc, I'm working on Barbie's head popped off to make way for a dinosaur head and now the dinosaur head is eating the original head Barbie.

Complete with Wooley Mammoth pet.

Among others. But I passed on the Barbie Winnebago and Pop Star Sound Stage--money issues.
