I might get the van, drive it in eight hours.
Has dual tires in back, bed frame, stove top,
apartment ($100) refridge, furnace.

ya' know...y'all were talkin' Maker's just when i was in an airport bar seeing my mom off after a very tense four days (and don't y'all get all Freudian on why me and my mom are tense...) and all i wanted was Maker's...inexplicibly. but i knew she'd notice the tab (maker's is not cheap) so i ordered beam.

bummer.

Rian. i love you and miss you. sorry i can't keep up with that other board. i felt i was not welcome. say hi to Rob, Sam and any other 'old-timers' that you're in contact with. and thanks for the well-wishes! i'll miss yer place if you move! good times....

Sorry I missed you Tish. I was writing a cover letter and fixing the resume. I actually wrote a cover letter. And I actually sent it with my resume in an email to a company. Oh, know I'm just crossing my fingers. I hope I hear back soon.

haven't blown mine yet, but close.

auto update....

broken intake manifold (plastic) due to heat.
2 oil changes to get all the anti-freeze out.
a new starter because the gear housing cracked.

$807.37... so now you know where my burning man money that i haven't yet earned has gone.

I might just follow Joel to the Fuck page... Double-double buttchew at work from the time I got here at 7:something until a few minutes ago... in all fairness I knew part of it was coming, but still...

You got weeks and weeks to not only get the car back on it's feet but get up to the playa, too. Y'know, worse comes to worse, I'm sure you can ride up and back with someone. Serious about that. OK, maybe it's 'cuz I'm too close to Berkeley, but I do a lot of this creative visualization thing, and I'm visualizing you on the playa with buku water and goodies and a strong set of wheels and extra green in hand... Don't laugh, I've seen it work...

Tell Nipples I get it now... I thought the Aluminum was reference to the Airstream (which are almost as bad)... Hmmm,,, Steel and Aluminum and Alkali. Yuck!! My Chevy Truck has those Alum, door panels, absolutely worthless. Especially after they've wrinkled a few times. And Fireplace cornices? Nice... I should pick up a cheap something, but there's just something about a tent in the heat and the dust... Maybe I'm part Bedouin?
