yea, there was a pretty good group of us. Five people showed including me. But we didn't really get a whole lot accomplished. Just more talking about what's going to happen. I think we are pretty much done for planning. Sounds like it's really going to happen. I put in a time off request today. So I'm crossing my fingers. I think there'll be another meeting next week.

Cool, I still don't know what my schedule is and I think it's a bit to early to be asking others to change there's to give me time off, but who knows it could be one of my three day weekends already.

Hey Blue.

Just getting ready to head off to bed and I needed something to slow down my mind a bit. All I can think about lately is how I'm going to build the top of the windmill. I keep going through different plans in my head. Saturday morning we're going to finish the model.
It's going to be alright.

Don't Dutch style windmills have fabric blade surfaces? are you doing that?

The 'team' that was working on the blades has yet to come up with anything. I think that most dutch style windmills actually use a lattice type arrangement of wood. We'll see what we come up with on Saturday. It's do or die. I have to get mine done.
It's going to be alright.

Well, I think some people might work Friday morning and come up later, leaving around four would get you there around seven with plenty of daylight left.

Okay, well I am planning on going. And next week I should have a tent to use. Tuesday to be specific.

Anyways, I'm wandering if I don't reply right away.

(Wanders in, lights lanterns, looks around...)

Hmmm... looks like a ghost town around here. Well, guess I'll go throw on the coffee...

(Wanders over to coffee-matic, Opens black pottery jar with skull-n-crossbones, pours in healthy amount of grounds, sets to "brew"...)

Ahhh... should be ready in a sec...

(Waltzes to fireplace, stares at it, suddenly it lights itself...)

Hmmm... must be an omen...

'Morning, Fishie!

Looks like everything closed up early last nite... maybe in prep for the Fri the 13th today?

(still eyeing the self-igniting fireplace warily...)

<adding more via edit>

Did a comparison of gins and vermouths for martini's last night - came up with an off brand semi-dry vermouth that works with Tanqueray like it was made for it. Gonna chalk it up to "official research"... Haven't done Martini's in a while... now I need to find the olive to go with it!

i'll just pop some Maker's in me coffee, then.

lil help?

for now, i'm keeping a safe emotional distance... and feeling fondness from afar. he kinda reminds me of Andy Kaufman from what i saw in 'man on the moon'.

and the sex is pretty darn fabulous, btw

Very nice Tisha. Glad to hear things are good.

I need some of that myself.

In the meantime a drink will do.

Aye, indeed, it is!! And I am also glad it is... ;~)

A drink... yes... Does Heli know that he is not only blessed but a blessing as well? One of those awesome Maker's Manhattans, Por Favor??

Twas a fun week, if one was a bit masochistic... am only hoping this weekend's events prove to be much more enlightening (and fun in a non-masochistic sense!)

And yes, to answer the question tish has put forth, Yes I have, and in fact, we still are in love... 'twas not my first, but it was so far in the past I had someone so, well, wild as I was (I think it was... hmm... 3 before my mariage, as I remember), that I forgot how big a hole not having someone like that was in my life until I found my hunny...
.AND, yes, the sex, not to mention the romance, is freaking awesome!!)
To which all I can say is I sure am glad it's Freitag!! (And the maker's is in the glass!)... And to the irresistable Spput, a double Patron, neat, with a sangrita chaser and some fresh limes from the backyard do ya???? ;~)

(Tips her hat, and sends a wink and a smile in Sput's direction)

And to you, dear sir. 'Twas not meant as a compliment, just the truth!

AHA!! My relief just walked in... Spring is in the air... and I shall be off!

(Um,... well... I think I'm already "off", but, well... you know!! >Chuckleetoes<) Y'all have an awesome evening, and remember if you didn't drink too much, it's not because I didn't pour it down your throat!! (Quote from a barkeep bud of mine!)

How could I pass up an invitation like that? Smooches to you, Miss Blue.
Saw that 'juju' comment over on 3playa, young missy. Why I oughta... Juju works in mysterious ways, and sometimes those ways take time, n'kay? Jeez, the kids today... What you did was a good start, I'll admit. Rinse, repeat!

I think I'll have a bloody mary. Two celery stalks, please.

I know, I know, I really haven't done everything I possibly could yet. But, I would just like to be able to actually get a cool job for once. I'm getting really frustrated already. It's been months. I need a job, I wanna go to TTITD! Okay, enough whining for today.

You took an important step, that's the important thing. I'm glad to see that Zule is working again.

TTITD is waaaay overrated.

True, maybe I should look for work in other cities. I have wanted to move and this maybe a way to do it.

Are you at work now?
