Hey Sputnik! Congratulations!!!!!!
Looks like the burn went really, really well! Good height, good shape and containment... Who is that to the right of it (looks like) spinning poi or somesuch??
For your success... a snifter with a double of Patron Anejo... Would you prefer a lime or an orange with that?

Blue walks into an empty bar, then notices how clean the bar top is
Wow! I can see myself in this bar, someone really must have been bored. Oh, and look a belated birthday card for me.
Blue picks up card and opens it, then looks at the suprise inside. Turns and continues to look at it perplexed.
Gee thanks Monkeypoo, that was really sweet of you to leave a card. I only wish I knew what this suprise thing is.

OK. Time to crack the first beer of the evening. Tonight's swill is from the Atwater Block brewery in Detroit. It's actually a really good dunkel.
Anyone else want one?
Oh...and some video for your enjoyment...

(Looking like something he might have dragged in, black cat wanders into the bar. Skinny and haggard looking... he is a mere shadow of his former self)
[*gasp*] Porter... porter... [/*gasp*]
Anybody around tonight?
(Rummaging for beer)
Finally got a new computer up a going. Gotta send the other to the shop and see if it can be salvaged.
(Pulling back the curtains behind the bar and peeking into “the cathole”)
Jeez... guess I’ve been gone a while. Plenty dusty in there..

Downloading antivirus updates for this new setup here. It makes things slow on my connection. Thought I’d leave stop in and say howdy.
(Digging into magic ditty bag)
Here’s a case of Redhook ESB and a couple bottles of Yellow Tail to pass around.
And great pics of the Windmill Burn, Sput...
Be back soon enough...

Blowing bubble in her beer for effect.
Well, the movie I narrated was shown. I was then told by the director it would be re-recorded/edited. He wants it to become "world famous", so I need to make myself available on w/e's for an indefinite time. I also connected with a videographer who makes real estate clips for tv & web ads, and he wants me to VO them. I was also informed of some projects coming up for Fish & Wildlife. I'm pretty stoked about this news, but foresee all the work at the same time.
After the showing, I had to do some serious escaping, so I went to see Star Wars and had a lovely time. Today I went to a friend's and worked on my truck. It's going to need a frame puller to fix properly. Damn.
How bout you?

Wow, sounds like your getting some recognition, very nice. Bummer bout the bad frame, what kinda truck you got? I had a pretty busy but productive weekend:
Looking forward to this weekend however as I can finally start working on the Dome...
Got a few chores to finish this week, dumping all the stuff from the garage, throwing a dread party (from which i should emerge with a head full of natty dreads, woot), making all my jigs to start hammering out my dome for BM.Got my garage cleaned out, fixed 3 computers, saw Star Wars, threw a b-day party for my friend and still managed to get enough sleep.
Looking forward to this weekend however as I can finally start working on the Dome...

Whoo-dee-whoo! about the dome making project.
Do you know why no one has made a Bucky ball designed geodome? Where each section is the same length and the joints have 3 prongs? Is there a structural integrity issue?
I have a Tacoma, and I mooshed the left front fender months ago, had the major (obviously illegal if left unrepaired) stuff replaced, and have been trying to save money to get the job finished. It's going to be more expensive than previously envisioned...but aren't these things always so?
I just got a phone call, so I need to take it.

sorry I didn't reply before you left, I post from work ; ;
anyway, I"ve seen pics of a larg bucky ball (like) structure from a rave somewhere. Not sure if it was functional (got bigger and smaller) but seems to me the biggest issue would be controlling its size. IE. without something holding it in position gravity would force it into its smallest config. Might be kinda expensive to work out...
well, sleep tight

*Fishy strides in and pours coffee. Dilutes its cowboyness with large shot of warmed milk and checks the tapes.* Oh crap! Woodrow's inviting his homeboys! Next they'll turn it into a disco!

BBS walks in, blinks eyes at the light change, wanders over to old-style perc-o-matic, and pours a cuppa coffee...
'Morning, all! Mmmm... strong and black, something I can sink my teeth into! Was tasting wines this weekend, as well as starting to get all my gear together. Amazing how much stuff grows legs and wanders off into the most amazing of places... That and working for darn near everyone... at least tthe OT is OK...

Yeah, I got blisters last night cutting up cds to use as decoration. So many projects, so little time, not enough help from the mrFishist.
