I'm doing good. It's raining here again though. We had a couple of days without rain but now it's back. Gets kind of depressing to say the least. How's your weather over in Detroit?

*sips her drink, adds a couple of nuts, stirs with swizzle stick*

Sorry I missed Champagne night (did anyone find the case of Blanc De Noirs I had buried under the spare bar mops??) but it was my daughter's 18th B'day (really!!) and I spent all day up there with that side of the family (she's been going to school up there - as it seems it worked out well for her) - *finally* met the elusive boyfriend, am totally impressed - this guy is a real class act and (maybe even) burner material >>evil grins<<... Wouldn't mind calling him a son-in-law... >>scheming mom genes kicking in there!!<<

So, yeah, I pulled into the driveway here at like 3:30 AM DDT (Default Daylight Time) which is either too dam late or too dam early... esp. on top of all the beer and partying and whatnot...

So... WHite Russians?? really?? My favorite hair of the dog. Hit me, please...

Shit yeah. I'm getting antsy now. Starting to think of all the things I need to finish. Just the other day a friend and I were talking about summer. The conversation went something like this:

ME: Its almost Memorial Day
Him: Yeah, I've got a bunch of stuff to do between then and 4th of July. Hardly a moment to spare.
ME: and then it'll be Labor day and summer will be over. Damn, we're already lamenting a lost summer before it starts.
