The reason behind this sage advice, is that the Johnny on the Spot maintenence crews pump that shit out.... right on the spot. If there's anything in the 'soup' other than regulation filth, IT WILL CLOG THE PUMP HOSES and piss the shit out of the JOTS guys.

What about TP? Most TP will disolve reaonably fast in the real world's septic systems... But not necessarily in the JOTS. So.....

GET YOURSELF SOME CAMPING TP! It's single ply vs. double-deluxe extra-padded-ass-for-comfort fluffy kind in the supermarkets. This may not disolve as quickly and can... let's just say... complicate things.

The single ply TP will clean your ass just as well. But don't forget about the personal wipes too. Make sure your personal wipes are also water soluable. Regular baby wipes may not disolve in the same way.

I appreciate your enthusiasm XS, but any kind of personal wipe, whatever it says on the package is not to go in either.

Here's the test: take one sheet of it and put it in a jar of water. Shake vigorously to simulate the action of the blue digestive liquid. Let it sit. If it doesn't dissolve in 6 hrs, it don't go in.

And to fill in your asside about "double-deluxe extra-padded-ass-for-comfort fluffy kind" the answer is that when it gets spun at the filters, it clogs them up with mook.

Almost completely used rolls of TP thrown out by many building maintainance companies are single ply. If you have your janitor keep them for you, these can make nice gifts. Prediscard the cardboard roll to help others avoid the temptation to discard them.

Comfort wipes and multi-ply are fine if you take a couple of ziploc bags with you and pack them out of the porta-pottie. Just keep your stash secret, or you'll be mobbed for the fluffy, comfy stuff by those who will most definitely not pack out.

Almost all sports stores sell a one ply paper for climber. It's without the tube in the center. Go's in a stuf bag real easy.

I went 1-ply shopping today.....lemme tell you, it is not very easy to find!
At Mallwart the only 1-ply is Scott and the RV kind. It's a toss up in price...RV kind $2.40 a 4 pack at 450 sheets, Scott a 4 pack, $2.50-ish and 1000 sheets per roll.
