housekeeping than identity, but i can

What the fuck is going on with the eplaya these days? Didn't we all used to have consistent identities and shit? I know I'm not on here near as much as I was 9 months ago, but Jeebus H. Christ it's gone all weird and the discourse, IMHO, has seriously deteriorated. I need somebody to email me summaries of what's going on here, for fuck's sake.

There are the regular old posters minus a few critical plus some new ones.
Some of the old ones are playing with their names and avatars because they can.
There is a decreasing quantity of new posters in the mix.
There is an overlay of chaos by a few posting under a variety of changing identities and avatars. Added to that, if you don't log in, some threads will let you post as Guest. Sometimes used intentionally, sometimes accidentally and sometimes used as intended by an unregistered guest.

Some seek order, some seek chaos, some take what is offered.
