Rented RV to share
Rented RV to share
Have rented a 22' motorhome RV to share with two others besides myself. Expenses are listed on http://www.sierrarv.com/motorhomes.htm
Will include housekeeping, bicycles and chairs. Add gas and water exchange at BM.
Kind of pricey, but the newer model RV should prevent mechanical issues.
Pickup RV in Reno on Wed, Aug 31 morning. Return sometime Monday.
Am 49 yo first time burner.

Dear 49 Y O First Timer,
I am a 32 Y O Second TImer who had an RV the first time out and am interested in how much the other beds would go for. Obviously the queen suite would be yours' and the other two places would be one next to the other.
Would you be doing AC by day-it's so nice to nap during the hotter hours. Give me a little bit more info and I'll let you know.

Re: Rented RV to share
Hey, hands, do you already have the reservation for this? I'm asking because you might want to do that sooner than later (I've rented RV's two or three times now and they go fast).

I've rented RV's before. When are you returning it? I think RV places can't be open, by law, on Sundays and Monday following burning man is a holiday. Can you wait until Tuesday to return it?
You're going to have a hell of a time cleaning it AND you'll be tired and won't want to. Read this thread for some advice on that:

Good question. I need to find out, too, for our trip out to dump and clean.hands wrote:Thanks for the tips.
Any recent advise for RV wash, dump grey water, and recycle / garbage drop off that will be open on Labor day?
Here's a list from Google Local:
http://www.google.com/local?hl=en&lr=&r ... earch&sc=1
What I'd do is start calling to find out who will be open. Last time we had to wash a vehicle, they referred us to some truck washing place so you might ask them where you can go do that. Also, don't assume that a campground has a dumping station -- at least one we went to didn't and they referred us to a truck stop that was nearby somewhere on 80 -- ask around. I'll post more info here on the ePlaya as I get it for everyone to reference.
It's what you make it.
