Water at the moment. But I think a Bloody Mary sounds good though. Unless you have a suggestion?

My stomach doesn't like spicy, so I'll take one pretty mild, thanks. Any chance of getting a hunk of celery or maybe a pickle slice in there too?

(AARRRGH! I hate having "hot keys" on my keyboard! My message just got erased before I could post it!!!)

Anyway, I had a job interview Wednesday which seemed to go okay. I need to follow up on Monday. It would be at the U.W. Whitewater, and would pay $11.345/hour or thereabouts. Even if I get it, I am in a bit of a financial hole, so BM might still be out of the question for this year. I got into the hole before losing the job at the U.W. Hospital, thanks to credit cards and poor budgeting. (Currently, I have been caring around a credit card which I haven't activated. I may have exceeded the activation time limit..., but am really uncertain I want another card.)

Spent most of this weekend loafing. I need a four day weekend, since two days is about right to get re-energized....

I don't know about you but I am thoroughly enjoying the sunny skies we've had here for the last 5 days. Let's me get out in the yard and do a bit of work.

Brian: credit is deadly, be very very careful...I know from experience.

M: Yeah, I spent some time in the yard this weekend too. Moved some plants around out front and put in a Japanese Maple.
It's going to be alright.

Yeah, plasteek cards can be very bad!

Japanese Maple.....beautiful!
I have a maple in the back yard...it was supposed to be a red maple but it ending up being a regular maple of some sort. The top died off and so we chopped it off. Now it's only about 15 feeet tall and been there for about 20 years. Kind of like a 15 foot bonsai tree.

The past year has been real hard on my bonsai. It started with moving in July, then I was gone for a week, then they sat out all winter with little cover. I think I'm losing another that is pretty old.
It's going to be alright.

Well, currently I am working as a bagger at the Copps store in Fitchburg. (Copps being part of Roundy's, Roundy's being the chain which seems to be taking over the supermarket industry in these parts!)

I had worked as a supply clerk for about five years at the U.W. Hospital, then made the mistake of transferring to a driver's job (in order to get a more stable schedule and off my left ankle). I got a point too many on my driving record (and not on company time), so the hospital terminated me, rather than letting me switch to a non-driving job.

The job I interviewed for is basically being an office manager. (My co-workers and the regular customers have been very supportive of me trying to find a better paying job, actually! :) )

I get plenty of time outdoors at work, what with retrieving carts and occasionlly sweeping up the parking lot. (It occurred to me, the other day, that a nice low expense "project" for BM for me could be bring a broom, a dustpan (one with a handle, like I use at work), and something to carry trash in, and go around sweeping up stray litter..... Might be too much like work, though!)

Darn, I should be getting to bed soon, too. (Should quit at ten, and then try to get stuff ready for work in the morning.)

Well, good night folks. I've been poking around eBay to try to get an idea what things like used buses and pedicabs go for-- both seem like they would be neat to own. (And, since I am not actually going to purchase either in the foreseeable future, I have plenty of time to do research.)

Arrgh! I really do have to knock off now. I am more tired than I thought, based on how much I have been rambling!

Good night!

(staggers towards the exit, bumping into tables)
