damn. damn damn damn.
i didn´t really consider the fact that i couldn´t import alcohol into the states if i´m underage.
i was planning on bringing some mezcal (SO GOOD) from Mexico with me to share with my mates. damn.

There's loads of things in Mexico other than Mezcal. :)

Other than that, if you go the shipping route, find out if you can ship alcohol in to the country (not necessarily legal), and if you can have it in your possession when you are under-age (not necessarily legal, either). I would not risk it, trying to circumvent the law any way, when travelling in a foreign country. Someone more versed in US laws can pick up from here...

This board is not the place to obtain or provide information on how to break the law at Burning Man. Please take your discussion elsewhere.

FYI - clarification

As Pollyboots and I discussed in PM, underage possession of alcohol is illegal at Burning Man, so sharing information provided on how to transport it there as an underaged person would be contributing to a criminal activity. That's why I asked for the conversation to be taken off the ePlaya, and I appreciate Pollyboots' kind cooperation. Thanks!

Thanks, that's about what I was trying to find out (whether underaged possession of alcohol is illegal in Nevada). I really need to learn to phrase my points more carefully. :)

Even if you are not a very law-abiding citizen in your own country, Dark Cipher, you have to take into account the fact that breaking a law while in the country as a foreigner can, with bad luck, get you into seriously nasty situations. I'd think twice before encouraging a minor to take that risk. BRC is in Nevada, which in US, which means it is not outside of the legal system.
