Rex, your your spelling and grammer mistakes, faulty logic, singleminded adherance to internal propaganda, nitpicking, whining, ignorance, and lack of debate skills makes you look like a fool and is a discredit to your organization and your crusade.

Please continue to post. You are actually HELPING Burningman by doing so.
PLAYA. PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYA. Yeesh. Look, man, I'll pass on the wisdom that a real, actual teacher taught me. If you don't care enough about your own words to properly spell and punctuate them for your audience, then why in hell should your audience care?

1. people that look the other way when it is to their benefit. i.e. people that attend buringman and say they are adamit enviroemntalists but yet pee and dump waste on the pliya. It is not ok to do that at your house but its a desert so we can't hurt it.
Hey dumbling, should I post the screen shots from your now revised web site showing the trashing of the playa in your sporty Dodge Neon? How about the one showing you (or one of your buddies) butchering the jackrabbit with the bowie knife. I think there might have even been some shooting out there by the pond. Talk about lead content. There are several folders worth of pic downloads that some of us grabbed before the clue bus stopped by and picked you up.

Just say the word.

how about working on a real environmental issue, that is actually doing some real damage to the earth  then i could have some respect for your "issues"

2. beleive what someone says no matter what. some peopel vote 100% party line becuase there is no way they can beleive something the oposition says. i.e. hard core republicans and hard core liberals.
and now i might add to that list burning man attendees when it comes to what BMORG propaganda has to spread.

excuse me, do i know you? no. and you don't know me for that matter. i should let you know that this year will be my first burn so it's kind of hard for me to have shit and pissed on the playa when i haven't even been there yet. one thing that annoys me is when people make assumptions about other people they don't know, and have never met.

and another thing, are you trying to say that global warming and all the other real environmental issues i mentioned is burningman propaganda? if so, then i guess bmorg is some allpowerful, omnipresent group able to control major media, the leading environmental scientists and even many governments, because they're saying the same things. methinks it was just a way to deflect my question about doing some real work on things that are doing some real, lasting, major damage to the planet.

Bad Representative

Allanon2,

After reading your replies, my family could not stop laughing at how you make a very poor public representative for both a public school teacher and the anti Burning Man movement on the playa. The cause of their
laughter? Your posts are full of spelling errors and as my eldest daughter mentioned, she is 12, "with a teacher like that no wonder why American
children perform so poorly on standardized tests and get low grades in school." I always knew my daughter Shyanne was smart.
don't piss me off, I am smarter than you!

I;m wondering what kind of horses. I'm hoping it's not My Little Ponys.

BTW--is My Little Ponys the proper plural, or should I have gone with My Little Ponies? Mys Littles Pony?

as many peopel know I am a science teacher in San Jose. That explains why during the months you qoute I am busy. I teach, write grants, get grants, getting my masters in instructionl technology, doign native animal rescue in santa cruz county, building a high defination theature in one of my rooms, rockhoudning, doing SCA, teachign ballroom dance, plus more
durign the school year I am busy.
I am now off for the summer and can now focus some on my other pursuits of which is to inform the general public to hopefully think on their own. To think on their own they have to be abe to have access to both sides of a story otherwise you are just ignorant.

so i come here when BMORG gets in the news themselves and i make sure the other side gets heard.

I am most defintly not a sock their are about 20 of us that have my feeling that are willign to be public about the lakebed against BMORG. I have over 100 hundred other names and address that if i ever need to do a push I can call upon to help out. BLM gave a two year permit so it is not time to call upon those people to hopefully seek the "truth"

so good luck calling me a "sock" i am rex scates and no one woudl be willign to try to fit into my shoes as i sometimes put my foot in my mouth ;) but for the people that know me (of which most on EPLIYA do not) know i am a very caring person and dont lie.

so hopefully that explaisn your questions and yes I am interested to comtinue my measurements of the pliya serpents that I have been measuring for the last 4 years.

see yah aroudn rex
Though I'm only an undergrad (still...Good Lord...), I think that I can help you Rex. If you run your posts by me, I'll be happy to proof and perform minor edits for you at no cost - what the hell? I need the practice.

Boy. Some of these people are sure big stupid doo-doo heads, aren't they? Especially that mean ol' Badger and his UGLY wife Isotopia. Wow. Sorry, Iso, but the Tammy Faye Baker on steroids look...Man oh man.

Anyway, we can start with the post above, ok?

"As many peopel know I am a science teacher in San Jose. That explains why during the months you qoute I am busy. " This needs some retooling. How about...
"As many people know, I am an incontinent gin sot. That explains why during the months you quote, I am busy."

"I teach, write grants, get grants, getting my masters in instructionl technology, doign native animal rescue in santa cruz county, building a high defination theature in one of my rooms, rockhoudning, doing SCA, teachign ballroom dance, plus more durign the school year I am busy."
We can spice this up, too, and edit a little for length without losing too much...
"I teach native animals to write and get grants for me; I'm building a high definition theater in my Santa Cruz ballroom, and again, during the school year, I'm busy, which is to say, I'm drunk on gin. Also, I smoke rocks."

"I am now off for the summer and can now focus some on my other pursuits of which is to inform the general public to hopefully think on their own. To think on their own they have to be abe to have access to both sides of a story otherwise you are just ignorant."
I find this paragraph a bit jumbled. How about...
"It's summer. While I'm off, inform the general public to think on their own. Give Abe access to both sides of the story." I don't know who Abe is, but it seemed important so I left that in.

"I am most defintly not a sock their are about 20 of us that have my feeling that are willign to be public about the lakebed against BMORG. I have over 100 hundred other names and address that if i ever need to do a push I can call upon to help out. BLM gave a two year permit so it is not time to call upon those people to hopefully seek the "truth."
This should just be obvious...
"I am most definitely not sober. There are twenty of us feeling the willing public and those naked in BMORG. I have a hundred names! (I thought the emphasis might add punch) It is not yet time to call upon them to seek the truth." I think it sounds a little crazy, but it's got a really fun sort-of Saddam Hussein-circa-early '90's-feel to it. Sort of a "the blood of the infidels", etc....

"so good luck calling me a "sock" i am rex scates and no one woudl be willign to try to fit into my shoes as i sometimes put my foot in my mouth ;) but for the people that know me (of which most on EPLIYA do not) know i am a very caring person and dont lie."
You're a little off topic here, but again, I'm sure it's important, so I've tried to maintain the integrity of your statements.

"Wish me luck calling my socks. I AM REX SCATES! No one would be willing to fit me with shoes! For the people that know me, I cannot lie with a caring E-playan person's foot in my mouth." That's SO kinky, Rex. You're going to fit right in.

"so hopefully that explaisn your questions and yes I am interested to comtinue my measurements of the pliya serpents that I have been measuring for the last 4 years."
This was the hardest paragraph for me. Frankly, it was like translating Japanese to English, but I did my best. If you're going to write poetry, in the future, please just indicate it to me so I know how to punctuate...

"Hopefully,
you question explosions.
I am interested in measuring pliable serpents
I have been
for the last four years
measuring
measuring...."

I added a little at the end, but I think it sounds nice.
Thanks to Addis, I had more free time.

Fat Sam, that was good. Really good.

He will come back you know. And I'm not talking about Badger either. So you'll have new material to work with before you know it. (I hope I'm wrong on that one).

It took me a Loooong time to stop laughing. And I, too, join the standing ovation. The translation from gibberish to truth was astoundingly good... worthy of at least a M.A. in Linguistics... (something to the effect of Incomprehensible Blather Comprension and Translation - I have never seen someone take such garbage and distill it to it's true content and meaning before!)...

Thank you for your service to humanity!! We applaud you!
http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f ... DISL41.DTL

In yet another biased piece about Burning Man, I quote:

"He brought a dune buggy last week to entertain the carpenters, who took
turns whipping around the desert roads and kicking up rocks at action-hero
speeds."

So...it's OK for the BMORG crews to tear up the playa. But find a *9*
year old picture of Rex driving his Neon on the playa, and it's a crime
against humanity that automatically makes him a hyprocrite?

so is it ok for BMORG to destroy the lake bed currently but you have a issue with something that i did 9 years ago?

just a FYI

Well, at least you're not the only person that realizes this whole "counterculture group hug in the desert" is a bunch of hooey:
