Fire Blankets

Post by unjonharley » Thu Jul 07, 2005 4:31 pm

Harbor Freight has welding blankets on sale this week. Water is hard to come by if you have a fire on the playa. Or if some one catches themself. I carry a heavy moving blanket my self. But a welding blanket is worth thinking about. It will take 1000 f°. I carry mine on my ride so I have it with me at all times.
I'm the contraptioneer your mother warned you about.

I just bought a couple welder's blankets off of ebay for what I consider to be a great price. I bought enough to cover a 10' x 10' area. I am using them for my art installation, Order and Chaos.
