Cats Return to the Playa
Black Rock City, July 7 - Fresh from our wildly successful inaugural
year on the playa, C4 (Crazy Canadian Cosmic Cats) return to Black Rock
City bigger and better than ever. Come join the coolest cats in the
cosmos and party your fuzzy little ass off in the feral foliage of the
Jungle Dome, or seek solace and serenity through the heat of the day in
the cozy confines of The Grotto!

Facilities: Centrally located in a plaza, on the power grid (we hope), 2
large domes (20 feet and 30 feet), communal shower and kitchen areas,
full-service bar for alcohol and capuccino. Rumors abound of a freezer
and air conditioner for this year. Amazing party and chill spaces. And
YOU!

Note: The C4 main site is full. The Satellite Camp, parked right next
door, is wide open. You get full access to the same great stuff, camp
dues in satellite are $30.

Just to warn you ahead of time...

There is no power grid on the playa, except the one you create for yourself. If you need power, bring a generator or other power source, or set your camp to run without electricity. Either way works.

Figured someone should let you know so you can plan accordingly!

Sue's right.

Even if you should plan ahead far enough to get placed on the grid you need to keep in mind that the purpose of the electricity is NOT to provide for air conditioners or freezers.

Indeed. C4 is bringing one or more ultra quiet generators to the playa for these uses. The invite didn't mean to imply otherwise. Just to let folks know that there might be a place to plug in that nifty blender or snow cone machine.
