What group put out that album? Sounds like something I may want to check out.

Also, for all you Guns and Dopers, we just secured that Geodesic dome. So, we got that going for us.....which is nice.

Also, 4kw Onan RV generator was obtained for the miniscule amount of 260 bucks.

Also, 1991 1 ton ford van was bought, then promptly rendered incapable of running by my genius electrical work. It is on its' way to the mechanic, to be treated for a burned out something or other by more educated hands. Once it runs, I will be making a run to the playa, with Chronon, to pick up our travel trailer left destitue in Gerlach nearly 1 year ago. We will see if it is still servicable.

Also, we still have a little room in our merry band of psychonauts for some interested and interesting parties.

ostrich smohtrish

Post by solaritea » Sun Jul 10, 2005 8:24 pm

From the looks of the website this may be too late - but you may want to rethink the whole ostrich thing. Have you ever been around an ostrich? They're not the friendliest of creatures and they're damn scary when they charge. Although the built in drum set in their chest is pretty cool and they are good dancers. Maybe just 25% on the legislature and throw in 8% lions to keep us all safe.

But anyways, despite the (possibly) misguided respect for ostriches - I'm interested. Do you have more info about the specific logistics of the camp?

That just may be a good idea about the lions. Keep the Ostriches balanced. Unchecked power is bad news.

A co-worker used to own an ostrich ranch. She tells a story of being charged by a male ostrich (bull?), and being kicked for 20 yards, until she rolled under the fence. 20 stiches or so. They're formidable beasts.

Then again, after watching some of our current crop of overlords in flagrant glory, it's nice to imagine a full grown ostrich ripping a politician to shreds in mid press conference after a particularly harmful untruth spewed to the populace.

I'll PM you some details about the camp

or maybe some alpaca's

So, not to be too anxious but I haven't gotten that PM. So to make it more tempting - I can now claim to be bringing the perfect combo of one gun guy and one dope guy. Hey - if we need to we can secede and start our own guns and dope camp and bring emu's into the legislature!

Plans for this year include the gifting of a couple dozen feet of San Pedro along with many gallons of ice tea. And I have had a desire to bring back Camp Kava for the last few years - maybe it's finally time. And as I've said before, absinthe is so over done it's time for laudanum bars! As for guns. . . ? ? ?

I emailed you last night, and sent a PM a few minutes ago, tell me if neither of those have gotten through, if you don't mind.

You're welcome to stop by for any of the above.

We've still got a few spots open for any interesting people who're looking for a camp.
