Did he ever show up? I know someone was claiming to be him at first, they spoofed me right off the bat before coming clean.

No, does he really want to actually rub elbows with us. All just a way to get his jollies by threatening me/us.

(and people wonder why I kept saying he had some sort of social problem...)

'Lo. Haven't been around much since The Great Meltdown killed the e-playa for centuries. In any event, I shall try to make it again this year, with henna goop in tow.

And may the Artic blasts be damned! And Rob the Wop's evil green concoction, which kicked my lily white tuschie last year.

There were two concoctions.
One green and one red.
The red one was Reindeer Fucker.
They will both make an appearance.

Oh, shit. Beware of the green stuff! Consider yourself warned. Of course I made the mistake of following that up with Captain Goddammit's excellent margaritas and after that I don't remember much. I had fun but details are still very sketchy.

I remember walking home with my eyes closed! :P Tho I did stop in center camp, there was this fanTAStic blond as part of a trapeeze troupe, but they couldn't get the music started and I was too wasted to stay and try to talk to her... Curse you, Evil Rob! It's all your fault!

Well, that and all the alcohol I drank.

Ahhh, I should know better than to mix my depressants. Always was a weenie.

Is there room for a Bitterman?

Post by Bitterman » Sat Aug 06, 2005 9:29 pm

I know I probably don't deserve it, but, I'm so damn bitter I might need hugs from lovey people to change my piece of mind. That laser treatment at last year's decompression helped a bit, but, I'm getting bitter again. Ya know what did it? Some idiot posting about stripper poles. I was having terrible flashbacks. You don't think the meet n' greet will conflict with the conflagration at the windmill battle grounds do you?

I'm confused about the above message.

Anyway...

Today I had an epiphany for this year's schwag.
(and I'm not telling :P). You'll just have to get one from me at the M&G. (thanks again Fishy!)
I'll be in my blanket fort until further notice.

So robbi, I think you had an epiphalette (I'm trying to get a new word started so that I can sit back when I'm an old so-and-so and chuckle to myself as people around me use it along with the rest of their day to day speech).

Epiphalette > noun (pl. epiphalettes)- an revalation on a scale smaller than a life changing event.

An everyday sort of epiphany, if you will. I think that’s just what you had.

Rolls off the tongue nicely, eh?

I've been spreading "Epiphalette" around the world since I heard it used by Black Cat. It is quite a nice word and fits all regular, or 'smaller' epiphanatic moments.

Oh... and I won’t miss this year. At least... I’m going to make a enormous effort to not miss this year. The M&G is the only thing I ‘m allowing myself to make firm plans for, actually.

And I'm bringing dark, dark black beer. (glances in Fishie's direction)

Say what you want about Rob the Wop, but his absinthe last year was some of the best I've ever had. As I recall...

The windmill burn will begin about 10pm. I'm leaving the M&G around 9:00 because it'll be out on the playa between 9:00 and the man and I am working crowd control. 3 hours will have to do.

So, lemme understand this...

On Thursday, starting at 6:00pm (PST, as opposed to BRCST), there is a little "Meet and Greet" party? Or some gathering of some kind?

Can anybody stop by? What if we're n00bs, and we don't know anybody. Can those types of guys stop by? Just to say hello? What if I bring a bottle of Cutty-Sark, and a few Guinness?

The roads in BRC are paved with liquoir or some such. Show up. You've posted that makes you eligilble--unless you make yourself uneligible by grotesquely sick behavior...
