I got a call from the MHP this morning that my mother was in an accident. She was in a dual turn lane, the large truck in the left lane made too sharp of a right turn and his trailer almost went over the front end of the F-150.
My mother was able to walk away, bruised, shook up but ok. How on earth someone is not able to see a very large solid white F-150 pickup beside them is beyond comprehension. Like the cop said, it was sheer inattention and stupidity by the truck driver.

FUCK! It's always something. At least she's ok. That's all that matters.

since I have discovered that I am carrying triplets, I have decided that
I am not going to get involved with Burningman like I was hoping to become. The triplets and my other two little darlings will take up all my time and energy. I have enjoyed reading, writing and talking to some of the members of the community. I just wish I didn't have to fucking give it up but it is for the best interest for myself and children.

I found out yesterday that the cancer on my cat's tail has returned. She is 15 years old and in pretty darn good shape for her age. I know that some people would say to just put her down but she is like my child.
My options are to put her through 5 treatments of chemotherapy($500) or to give her some anti-inflammatory meds($?). I am leaning towards the chemo since the cancer is not in any organs but on her tail.
