thought I`d share.

Hey there LRB and EDB. Thanks for the chai. That might help. Close, so close. My ticket is out there, I just don't have it in my hands yet.

I know the feeling Sput...

I never really know until the very last minute if I'm going or not. It seems to make it that much more magical when I do make it.

I`ve had my ticket since March, if I don`t engrave my vacation plans in stone they don`t happen.
I still have that pants-wetty feeling though.
One month til I`m OUTA HERE!!!

OH...those kind. I checked online and actually found some candy called barley pops. So you mean pop, as in soda.
It's going to be alright.

(Comes in slightly smoldering and smelling of singed fur)

Man is it ever hot in the shop. Seems like time for some iced coffee

(Pulls carafe from the cooler and pours a tall glass, adds ice cubes and milk)

Oh yeah... good stuff anybody else?

(Places cold coffee on the counter)

Me too! It's hotter than hell here in the south. Plus...I think I still have alcohol residue flowing in my veins from the regional. Holy hell...had my first shot(s) of moonshine. That'll put lead in yer pencil.

**looking down**

Oh, yeah, that's right, I don't have a pencil, do I? Well, it'll make yer nipples turn sideways. How's that? heh heh...

* Man is it ever hot in the shop

Don't know how you do it.

How long would you think a big hunk of a block of dry ice would last in your shop?
Somebody said the it couldn't be done, But he with a chuckle replied that maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't say so until he had tried.

Yeah.. It gets pretty dang hot in there. Put a big exhaust fan in the wall the other day though and that helped. Brings it down to just below unbearable. Supposed to cool off some tomorrow, though.

(pours everyone a glass)

How’s the artwork coming along lately, Watchnc? Any great pieces emerging?

By the way, if anybody is curious, there's good dry ice info in this thread.

Art work is going okay, working on two at the same time. Keep getting distracted by my kitchen. Want to redo the floor and paint it. Put some more color swatches up but still can't decide what I want.

Hey, I'll be up your way tomorrow. Dropping off a picture at that Arts on Main in Shelbyville Exhibit. Crossing my fingers that I win something.

In comes karine, unzipping her polar sweater.

"Whew. It's nice and warm in here!"

Karine sits and rubs her hands together to speed up the re-warming process.

You know it's colder outside my house than it was inside with my air conditioning on full blast?

(and before anyone can answer)

Do I smell burnt fur???"

Yes Karine, I think the black Cat has spent too much time in the shop. There's fur all over the place. How do you treat a cat for heat stroke?

Here's to Carl Sandberg and Harry Bridges, Dirty Harry, Al Capone, Carol Doda, Fatty Arbuckle, Jack London and His nemesis "Yellow Handkerchief" the pirate ( I live near his ole hideout, really), Robert Frost (good name for today) Little Egypt, Willie Mays, Wild Chief "Jack" the Modoc, The great whites, The Tennessee, The big blue Pacific and Baker Beach, where the first Burning Man happened during Ancient Times. Ah...love this place, you're all invited (even the republicans)

Time for my vitamin shake! (A Little Canadian Windsor before I hit the border, kay?!) I'm heading up to Manitoba tomorrow- it can't be colder there than it is here! Feels like a night on the playa!
