Z, are ya keeping cool down there? It was excellent here today. It got pretty chilly when the sun went down though. Woo!

Hey, I got my dome frame built today! I'm very happy!

Did you put the whole dome together??? I've helped create the pieces... but I've yet to assemble my own dome!

I'm hoping to set up a dome here for a "friends & family retreat" out in the woods- but the skin has me wondering, too- Seen a lot of trials, but.... I'm still lookin' before I make investments yet. So what're you doin' Msky?

Oops! Sorry, I was cruising a bit, looking for a local news channel link on school start/end times.....but didn't find it.

Uh, well Z....I'm not taking it down until I figure out what to cover it with. I got a 2 pack of silver/brown tarps 9x12 to play with as a cover. I know I'll have to get a few more though.

K, I indeed made all the pieces by myself! You can do it!

Man I'm wiped out...fading fast. I got up early and worked about 5 hours today, split shift deal. In between which we built the dome frame. I'd post a picture if I could figure out how to do it.
Gotta work again wed and thursday, too.

No reason to go to Manitoba, other than the kids wanted to go "out of the country" this summer. So before we head back down to New Orleans, I figured I'd take them north for a drive- There are 2 Provincial Parks I'm looking at with good bike trails!

I have been pondering both ways, Z. I think I may go to the local Lamar Sign office and ask about billboard vinyl. I might then make fitted pieces held together by velcro. But it's getting close to leaving time so I may just go with silver tarps, wrapped somehow.

doing good today. Found out I have half the day off tomorrow. the secret service wants the shop shut down and emptied of us undesirable types when Laura Bush visits the building. We'll see if there is enough money to pay for time lost later.

Bush's limo took my parking spot when he visited my town last summer. Then when my son's friend flew up this summer, his plane had to circle the airport until Air Force 1 had cleared the tarpak. Man... those politicians!

Funny, at the shop meeting to tell us of the plans they said the they would search the shop with dogs, so prepare accordingly, one of the guys ran to his bench and brought back a fake shaped charge left over from making a display on imploding buildings .

Yeah, I heard a bit about it and Monkeypoo was hanging around earlier... she went to it but don’t know if any of our crew met up with her.
