now what am supposed to do?
the way I see it you have several options:

1) start a garden - wheat only takes about 6 months to grow and another 2 weeks to ferment;

2) dig out the strawberries you left rotting in the back of the fridge and hope they've fermented;

3) start raiding neighbors' refridgerators until you find a suitable replacement;

4) get on a plane and fly to LA where we're willing to share our beer;

5) walk two lousy blocks to the liqour store. :-)

I just have to meet you Precip...I know women who can't handle beer let alone anything like a good sipping whisky. (Intentional spelling, btw)

The more I learn about you the more impressed I get.

My roommate's best friend from high school asked me to marry him
yesterday when I announced that I'd much rather be watching the Saints
get routed than any sitcom (and no, I'm not a Colts fan; I just get bored
by sitcoms).

Beer is food!

What the fuck?! Over
Beer is food, the hoppier the better. I want my beer like I want my men: strong and bitter. Sam Adams/Henry's/Red Hook are good utility beers. IPA's of any flavor are a good idea. I've just been turned on to Dry Orange Ale -- it tastes like you're drinking an orange peel. Yee-hah! I've been getting blasted on Bridge Port IPA at the local micro-brewery here in K-Falls. What do you mean, girls don't drink beer?!? How is it that I can spend 5 minutes with a dude and I'm either talking about porta-potties, sex or beer. Ah well, it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.

i, of course, had to point out that i'm still first in line.

of course, there isn't really a line. it's her call on who she want's to marry. but it seemed like a funny thing to say, at the time.

on the oversexed front, i was below average this weekend. too much booze. but i'm ready to bounce back...

What a refreshing thought! Beats "what do you do for a living / I just loved Sex and the City last night / my abusive boyfriend wants to come back, I don't know if I should let him" any day of the week!

He's in Missouri. They don't have good beer there.

Keep abusing apostrophes that way and I might change my mind.

Missouri is the HQ of Anheiser Busch. Like Precip said, I'm in Missouri. We don't have good beer here.

Come visit us in Oregon...we'll teach you about good beer.

Of course I'm a bigger fan of good vodka.

Or, better yet, good weed.

Again, Alice, let me say...You are not oversexed!

Oh dear god that sugary shit will kill you every time. Maker's Mark. Knob
Creek. Baker's. These are the names you should learn and love.

And no mixing with Coke, ya fucking weenie. Rocks. Or neat. For sipping.

i just like the mix of alchohol and caffeine - does that still make me a weenie?

No. Just stick to the Jack or Beam if you're mixing. And don't come running
to me with your hangover, missy.

Myself, I prefer to get the caffeine out of the way all by itself. But that's
probably because of my personal relationship to caffeine. I did enjoy a
nice vanilla vodka and Coke the other night, but it made me really
really drunk. Maybe that's because of who mixed it, though.

I heard a horrible rumor that Knob Creek is just Beam that's been sitting around for a few years. Does anybody know if this is true?

I love me some Maker's. And I have to admit I do enjoy Rebel Yell, but only when I'm feeling masochistic.

I went to work and had to catch up on reading posts.
To start things off. KNOB Creek hee hee hee (that was my inner 12 year old speaking)

Whiskey on the rocks, for taste. or as 2 shots as a subsitite for aspirin (found that out the night of my near impalation on a beer bottle, the same night as the glorious St. Patrick's day fireball).
Please forget the words that I just blurted out

Alcohol and caffeine...ahh the glories of falling down drunk and having the energy to get back up. I'm partial to Red-bull and Jagermeister myself.

year before last on the playa we had Red-bull mixed with champagne and just a little vodka. Tasted awesome, and gave us the energy to run quickly to the outhouses to toss our cookies.

Just to drag this thread back on topic, Alice is definitely oversexed. For real. Way way oversexed. Trust me.

I'm undersexed at the moment. Life's a lot simpler because of it, but it's a lot less fun.

6:39 am? Jeez, no wonder I sent you packing. Thank you for returning at
a more reasonable hour, though.

Not exactly. It's owned by Jim Beam brands, but it's distilled completely
separately from the mass-produced Beam.

Will no one speak up for the wonderful essence of agave? Give me good Tequila every time! Or a good single malt Or maybe a crisp IPA. Of course, there's always that wonderful chewy, loaf of a beer, Obsidian Stout. Well, you get the picture.

By the way, I forget, who's oversexed?
