Unless I am missing the point of a "bike -taxi"seems to me you would need a fleet of" bicycles built for two".That would not be cheap. You don't find those bad boys at garge sales, thrift stores or abandoned on The Playa.
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there..............................Oriental Visitor

I answered on your other thread. Just so you know, creating two different threads on the same topic in different fora is looked askance at as "cross-posting."' You're new and didn't know, but we can be a cantankorous bunch about certain matters.

bob--I've never tandemed, but I've heard that it's hard to keep in sync with each other. Are you going to be able to work with that?

I have an old Schwinn tandem that I've been sl-o-w-ly rehabbing...It IS hard to keep sync, and they're no good at Evasive Maneuvers. A sudden turn equals instant ground-grinding time. I was going to build a robot to ride behind me, just for smiles.theCryptofishist wrote:bob--I've never tandemed, but I've heard that it's hard to keep in sync with each other. I don't have a good picture of our four wheeled bike, but this is where it looked like before we playafied it with a canopy, deck, misting system and lights and art:

Go to "showroom" then 4W2PCP to see our model.
Pricey, but enables me to get around without sitting a bike. Larry has given rides to folks in need, but mostly he hauls my sorry ass around.

3 oclock plaza
Barrechos y Bicicletas are hosting riksha service out of the 3 oclock plaza. I'm actually looking forward to volunteering as a runner.
If you visit them during the afternoon, pop you head into our camp and enjoy.
