have you seen these? i've had one for 3-4 years now, and we just love it.

the prices can range anywhere from 25$ to 150$

you heat your water (on the stove or in a solar shower) and drop the motor in the bucket. a little water goes a long way

Coleman instance water heater work very good. It works out of a jug. You coukd fed it into a bath water bucket the shower pump would carry it from there. Get hot water fast for dishes too.
I'm the contraptioneer your mother warned you about.

This thing is the BEST! We have had one for the last couple of years. I get a dark colored paint bucket, add 5 gallons of water- place in sun with a dark board on it. At the end of the day, the water is warm- the shower works great. We stand on a small pallet placed inside a kids pool and shower away! 5 gallons for the two of us.
The the grey water that does not evaporate, we funnel it back into the original container.

And is is only $20. One set of batteries lasted the entire trip (about 15 showers)
So, what is the deal with the damn batteries anyway!
