Project X

Joe Priff, researcher and originator of Project X has released some details of the project.

It is big. Not the biggest, but big. Erection of one piece will require the interaction of many people.

It demonstrates what can be done if we open our minds and break the standard cultural modes. It takes the familiar into unfamiliar territory. It doesn't push the edges of the envelope as much as it describes an entirely new envelope in which to operate.

Basically it is something immediately recognizable yet presented in a new and different way that while on one level is comforting, can be somewhat disturbing to the status quo.

What the hell all that means, you got me by the short ones.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone that pitched in on the playa and participated in Project X. The project would not have been complete without you. Seeing all of you pulling on that rope and raising that arm was amazing. If you stopped by and just lent a hand for a moment, maybe mooped a little, helped move something, handed someone a tool, , offered refreshment to the crew, whatever, you were a part of the project and we THANK YOU!
