Need to charge my batteries with your generator on the playa
I tried so hard to not need this but even after buying only LED lights and 4 gient deep cycle batteries the math is telling me I'm not going to last the whole week without a re-charge of two batteries at least once.
I'm going to try to pare down and maybe only set up half at first to see if that might make them last, but it would be great to know that I could charge them if I need to.
Anybody already know they've got power to spare? I could bring some a filled up gass can or something....
Much thanks.
PS I have no Idea where I'm camping just yet...

What Dallas said.............DallasPlaya wrote:While it's a good idea to plan ahead, don't sweat it too much as I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find someone who will let you charge your batteries. It's also a great way to meet people. But if anyone asks you to pay, like someone asked me once, keep on truckin.

Our solar panels got backordered, so now I too have the need to find a way to recharge our battery now and again. We can keep one running for the bike with our suitcase panel, but the lighting for the Home for Wayward Art will need a couple bigger boosts than we can currently give it. (Currently, groan)
I hesitate to ask, it feels so unself-reliant to use someone's genny, especially since we live in Hushville.
Gas or diesel? Anyone?

Power Up!
Stop by the BookMobile (next to Center Camp) for a recharge any time (unless the RV shade is down  ).

Since AntiM is bowing out...
I am also in need of some battery chargin'.
I just discovered my power needs just aren't being fulfilled by my golf cart. Luckly I have a couple of deep cycle batteries as back up, but I need some help charging them. I've got is the batteries, but no charger device, so I'm looking for someone with that as well.
Can anyone help out? I'll us my neighbor when I can, but I'd love a solid hook-up. (I'm in Hushville, where there are no generators). Just PM me if you can help.
Thanks!
