Drink up, but don't worry about the appraiser. They don't care about how much crap you have. They're just looking at the general condition of the house and how it compares to the other houses in the neighborhood.

Oh Sputnik! Thank you for the information! Having not dealt with appraisers before and not knowing what to expect that really does help!

Can I get you a drink?

*M leaves a "New Dome Owner" Drink token on the Bar for Elemental*

WOOHOO! Congrats Elemental! So you are going with a fitted canvas for your cover? I am going to run out to the billboard place I think. See if'n I can get a freebie tarp. Otherwise, (if they say no) it's off to Maynerd's for silver tarps. But, hmmm...I have almost 15 yards of nylon backpack material...but alas, tis not very thick. I also have clear vinyl.....not enough time.....aahhhhh....(sits and ponders covers in her own little world)

*drinks another beer...lifts it in honor of the Element Dome*

We just found out that our house was built in 1888! 117 years old.....WOWZA!! I guess he was pretty thorough...asking about the furnace, roof, hot water heater, built in dishwasher and a disposal, we just got new siding(++).....It'll be interesting to see what it appraises at.
Now, if I could just talk my mom into getting a garage! Just a 24'x24', with an upstairs mom.....HAHAHA!!!

Drinks anyone? A beer sounds great right about now!

Zulegoona wrote:Ok then I have to ask what's the real difference between gray water and Pee,
In some contexts nothing. Pee is sterile (or at least in comparison to other bodily excresions) and has important nutriants, so if you have teh right grey water set up at home you can use it in your garden. You want it diluted of course and you don't want the smell. (Well maybe some people do, but that's a little TMI) I'm not advocating using watered down pee on playa dust patrol though, so don't misquote me on that.

Time for some cookies! (you dribble some rum onto an Oreo, then eat it...yummy!)
