Well, several problem areas in my life have seen resolultion in the last year, I've managed to get debt free and hold a steady job for 3 years and have good enough insurance to take care of a few health issues when i return from the playa. I've kind of caccooned the last 5 years getting my head straight and live back on track and I turn 30 in a couple of weeks. So the fact that I am now actually going through with the BM trip is kind of the icing on the cake. This trip will not only be my final farewell to a life long friend but a sincere hello to the rest of my life. I can't think of a better way to proove to myself that life begins at 30 and I"m prepared for it...

I've kinda not thought to hard about taht for fear of setting expectations, but its just to synergetic to dismiss.

Well good for you, and congratulations.

Don't come w/ too many expectations, other than to expect to be dirty, tired, and possibly dehydrated (very difficult to avoid). And at some point, you can expect to have an "Oh my fucking GAWD!" experience.
Answer is
- don't worry about dirt. It's part of life.
- allow yourself plenty of downtime to sleep
- start drinking water now and vow to drink x2 volumes of water for every beer/caffeine/or ounce of booze you drink.

I should really be getting off to bed. This booze you gave me went straight to my head.

I'm generally pretty good about dismissing and preconcieved (sp?) notions before I actually arrive at a given event. I like life raw and unfiltered, so I guess I'm headed tot eh right place ;)

I won't keep you, sleep tight and sweet mimi's

WOOHOO! It was an awesome night in the Bar! So many friends were here and then new people came in and hopefully they'll come back so we can get to know them better, too!

Well, I think it's coffee time so I'll brew some up.

Morning, Sputnik! Did you get your inner tube blowout problem solved?

Would you like some coffee?

Coffee is necessary.

Yes, I did solve the problem. Turns out that the bead of the tire was disintegrated by rot and the tube was working it's way under the edge and blowing out. Put a new tire and tube in and it's much better. Now I just have to get the chain put back together and I'm in business.

How are your rummage sale efforts going? We are having our sale fri and sat. Yesterday it awas a mad scramble to take everything down and cover it with plastic because we got a pretty big storm. We even had a tornado warning!

How about a big coffee for me and a *Chai with extra spices? Then I'll whip up some steak and eggs. It's going to be a beautiful day.

*sets out a mug and fills it with freshly brew coffee. Makes up some Chai, adds some extra spices and pours into mug and sets both in front of Heli*

Our sale is the same days M. Setup won't be until tomorrow morning because of that storm you're sending my way.

More coffee?

More coffee would be great! Thanks!

Well, we have so much stuff..accumilated over about 20 years that we have to set stuff out now! We have vosew that NOTHING is coming back into the house after the sale!
Of course...I'm already finding some things to keep, I'm bad! Like a cool cast iron pancake shaped pan that I've appropriated to take with me on my trip. Might be good for making pancakes or flour tortilla things.

I'm pretty sure that they don't have at all in Europe. It may have been one of the wierd things that freaked Europeans out when they found here. Do they have pit vipers at all? Are adders pit vipers?

Whoops, sorry, thoughtless of me. I was thinking that we could sit here on the bar stools and talk about how there's never any traffic. I forgot it would be pure torture to one in your position.
