Hey Crypto it's a nice little town. Why a couple celebrating their anniversary could vacation in a quaint little place like that. spend their days hanging out watching traffic, maybe day tripping to a local festival, enjoying the fresh air and friendly people.

3969 must have some esoteric significance or not but 70 is a nice round number.

Wow, post 2222 for me. Cool.

Anyway, getting ready for the big rummage sale tomorrow. Hope to make some bucks. Actually I guess we're already ahead since we sold a couple of big items early.

Got my bike mostly ready for the playa over the past couple of days. I found some blinky handle grips and blinky valve stem covers at Kmart for cheap. Should do to keep me visible. Oh, I need to remember to buy a bunch of those little batteries.

Excellent Z. Today I got a call from a friend at work. He decided yesterday to come to Burning Man. He's going to camp with Lustre at 7:30 and Catharsis, just a short way away. We met for lunch and it turns out he already knows a couple of my friends from Ubercarney and invited them to lunch too. Squeee, as some people say!.

Evening, everyone!
We had some early shoppers too, Sputnik. Not big sales though but that's ok.

I saw those blinky handlegrips at Kmart. They were a bit spendy up here.

Cool, the excitement builds across the planet

I have some co-workers who don't really get that it's anything but a big party with naked babes, and they seem to be picking up on my excitement and are coming up with costume ideas for me,... none of which I would really consider but it just goes to show how infectious the energy is.

People I talk to about it think it's a big weirdo drug party. I try to say that theres art and cool people and I'm not going there for drugs....I'm going because it's on my "List of things to do". I've wanted to go for about 6 years and this year..I'M GOING!

I haven't come up with any costumey stuff to wear.

I have my Santa suit and my bunny ears, which I'm wearing to the meet and greet in honor of nipples, but that's about it. I wanted to get more, but I doubt I'll have time. There is always Kostume Kult and a few other places for that "on-playa" experience.

Although...my nextdoor neighbor said to me the other day, "There's parties there though too right? Well, I'd go".
I was surprised!
