OH! I read that...that was a great story!

Ok, I have to call it quits early tonight. I have to keep an eye on the rummage sale stuff tonight. It's all set out already.
DSputnik, is all your stuff out already too? Our hours are 8-5. That seems long to me.

Mornin' Sputnik. I'll take a cup of coffee and then I'm off to put out signs. Looks like my mom is already selling stuff and we're not supposed to open until 8!

Happy sales!

OK, the signs are up and it's a beautiful day for a rummage sale! People are rolling in and out, I think we're making some money! YAY! But still, I like going to sales, but I hate having a sale!

I think I need a bloody mary!!

I haven't come up with any costumey stuff to wear.
Hit the black rock boutique or some other costume exchange campe when you get there. Or go to target and get some novelty pajama pants, just to keep you going. Get a length of cloth for a sarong. At least you wont' look totally unprepared, even if you didn't shop the opera sale.

Hey Msky... quick sarong tip:

1) (2) yards of funky rayon batik fabric (cotton works too, but drags upon itself somewhat and can restrict movement . Rayon flows quite nicely and doesn’t restrict at all... and it feels just sublime when worn)

2) Hem cut edges, leave selvage edges as they are.

3) Wrap around waist, fold down several times.

Instant homemade sarong.

Make several, they look great and can be used as head wraps, camp decor, etc. I can turn one out on my treadle machine pretty quick. If you’ve got an electric machine, you could make half a dozen in no time. Good gift idea, too. I gifted two last year.

Anyone around here today. I cannot manage to get any work done. I am sneaking out early to get down to the venue and do sound check and load in. Should a fawking raging night. Portland is excited about Mutaytor. I still don't know how I go booked for the opening.

So someone tell me they have an exciting drink that will take me two hours to drink.

We're testing out late event drinks with the last available mixers. They take two hours to drink because they are so awful.

OK. Sales done for the day. Made out pretty well. Also got work done on my porch project. Tonight I need to get the chain put back on my bike.

Time for a drink. Any recommendations?

Let's see. 21 days to the playa. Money's tight. Dental appointment on Mnoday. Can't keep my mind on work. Husband's dragging his feet on pre-playa-prep. Can;t complain, because I'm having a heck of a time making e-drinks.

*mixes sput a whiskey, strained juice from a can of pears, rice milk*

Here you go, although I wouldn't recommend it for anything short of braggin' rights.
