Pimp-my-mo-home!
Pimp-my-mo-home!
I want to do something drastic to the motorhome I'm purchasing. I'm flexible as to permenant or not.
Thoughts have been:
Motorhome cover of some kind that I could throw over and secure making it look like a giant arabian nights tent.
covering in fur (seen it done already though)
simply a crazy paint job...
Got any examples you've seen? suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Pimp-my-mo-home!
I'm thinking about the same thing (I bought an RV but I'm in the process of re-selling it because it needs too much work and getting a different one). My only concern would be being able to re-sell it afterwrds... So my interest would be more along the lines of decorating the inside. All I could think of so far was a disco ball over the bed...
That said, what about contact paper? Doesn't that come off pretty easily, too? Something more complicated and more expensive might be that wrap stuff they do to cars & buses (it's like contact paper but custom designed for your vehicle).
My only other concern would be standing out like a sore thumb in traffic -- something I'm sure a lot of us would like to avoid, if you know what I mean...

It's what you make it.
different sides of the coin
I'm actually looking to create an "Art RV". I WANT to stand out! So glue, weld, chop - whatever. This baby is mine until she dies - and to be mine - she has to rock!
I'm thinking an Indian mosaic type thing on it...

Here's a good place to start....

(Use the RV or Sportsman's GOOP- It apparently contains UV stabilizers.)
I'm VERY jealous. Wanted to encrust a Winnebago for AGES.

Howdy From Kalamazoo
Since I bought my tent trailer cheap enough, I was able to pimp it out. I had a grafitti artist paint cool flames all around it. then I bought a bunch of leopard print and reupholstered all the cushions and made matching curtains. I also put fur on thed ceiling using liquid nails.
