Here you go, although I wouldn't recommend it for anything short of braggin' rights.
I understand the whole prep thing. I have to setup a chill space at a show a week from today then all my free time will be devoted to prep work.

Yeah, If I had HIS free time...
I work 4 days a week... And he likes to have everything ready a week in advance. We've never made that date! Oh well, I can always retreat to self-rightious blame.

What's the matter, Sput, you haven't touched your drink.

Have you checked out the Gerlach webcam yet?
It's totally boring yet completely fascinating. Everyonce in a while a car drives by for a frame, but you can just see the playa so there's this weird homesickness it induces.

It is such crack. That little bit of playa just makes me grin. I keep wondering if a decked out mobile will go cruisin by.

It is cool seeing the thunderstorm roll in over the mountains too. Very cool.

Last I saw at night it was pretty dark. Not much to see at all.

Not surprised by that. Just because BRC is a nighttime city doesn't mean Gerlach is.

Do you suppose rex will moon us on it? Of is that beyond his capabilities?

I honestly can tell ya I don't know who Rex is but I am sure he would moon the camera if the oppurtunity was presented.

I wonder if someone is able to capture moments like that when they happen.

*fishy puts sput's drink away for when he comes back. She rustles around in the back of the bar and finds more old bottles... 8

Hm, a half inch of kaluah, an inch of tequila, more cream soda, and wheat grass juice. That'll clean you right out. *mixes and leaves for next patron*

I better leave that one alone. I would hate to be onstage when that one hits.

radical self relaiance, ya know. Plus we're trying out drinks for the end of the playa week, when the good stuff is in short supply. Have a rum and carrot juice. Here's a slice of ginger to go with it.

heya sweeties and hunnys and awesome folk!

Survived the week. Lessee - watched a major injury accident right in front of me Monday then yesterday another one, again right in front of me, tho this one was spread in 3 out of 5 lanes... had one of my guy's try to tear his truck almost in half (and not say a word), another got in a silly screaming match with *my* boss (that ended with a "f*** you" or 4) prompting headache and writers cramp, a third went over the deep end - aka 5150 - twice in 2 days, a 4th vanished for 2 days, a 5th got caught sleeping 3 times on the job by my bosses' bosses' boss... had a management meeting which made me think working for the LLC wouldn't be that bad after all... Did I mention my work truck also decided yesterday to blow up a motor?

What a fun week! NOT!!!

Lessee... what do we have... Carrot juice... Jaegarmeister... 151 Bacardi... Mountain dew... Tullamore dew... Rootbeer and some coffee creamers. Oh, some old cocktail onions, skewered on a paper umbrella! Sounds like... um... like the temple's about to burn! Know my belly is.

What are we gonna name this one?? I know - How about TBTD. For Temple Burns This Day... or Too Bad To Drink!! >>giggles<<

Maybe just the carrot juice?? And an ice cube or 2.

Hey Sputnik...How's your sale going? We sold close to two-thirds of the stuff we put out. It's amazing though, how rude some people are. We had one guy take the bungee cord off the gate before we were even open and come in and start shopping around! Then people would keep asking if that was all we had and start looking in our enclosed porch! Sheesh!

I think I'll have a Bloody Mary!

We're getting rid of stuff. Not as good as you, but big items are gone.

EDB... you are mistaken. No cash here. Bad juju comes along with that stuff. That is in fact a "thrash register". If you get close to it and try to pay for your drink it'll jump and start smackin' the hell out of you. Please, please be careful around it. It's testy at best.

And by the way... thanks for the Bluegrass!!

Folks?? How's about some bourbon to go with that fine, fine music?
