Depends on the distillary. Most of the finer ones, though, don't bite much and have carmel type undertones. Some smokey sweetness too.Martiansky wrote:Thanks, LeChat!
What's bourbon taste like so I can imagine it?
You can find old bourbon barrels around here and, if left out in the sun they smell so freakin' good. I want to crawl inside when I come across one. Sort of maple syrup-y smelling. My mouth is watering, actually.
Oh, and look me up on playa, Msky. I'm bringing some of Kentucky's finest with me.
Goodnight Sput... I'm not far behind.

Can't wait... esp the tux. I was told once that guys are lucky as a tux is never out of style. Formals are *much* worse for us. MUCH worse.sputnik wrote:Hey M, thanks for the thought, but don't put yourself out. I've got stuff. I've got my kilt, the tux (should I actually bring it because it is a real relatively up to date tux), my Santa suit, bunny ears, and I've got some post apokoliptic wear (but not much).
I *do* have the infamous black dress, however... With matching mitts. Some other goodies as well. Still want something kinda liederhosenesque for the Kantina... and a new bullwhip for those "difficult" interrogations... my old one is *so* worn out and battered...

Punch... Very quick that way.
It’s all about taking the time to set up the fixtures and jigs first. Then you just put the freshly squashed end in and step on the pedal. Almost as if by magic.
Too bad you’re not down here, Z. We could have a dome party.
Go through the bullwhips, do you, BBSue?

I'm back (slow server) but I , too, must skedaddle...
Hugs to y'all... see you maybe in the morning. (And a kiss on the forehead to Zule...)
And Chat... who told you my plans? I was kinda thinking Elizabethan Bar Wench. Tits on a platter and all that. Nudge nudge wink wink...
Whips are 'spensive nowdays!! Damn! Better stop wearing them out. Or at least figure how to get the bloodstains out of them... >>grins<<

This must have been rummage sale day, we had entire apartment complexes and neighborhood associations having them around here.
BTW, did someone say there was margaritas around?

Good evening, everyone!
Sputnik, what percentage of stuff do you think you sold? I'd say we soldat least 2/3 of what we put out. Today was really slow like I mentioned earlier. That was ok though.
A lady stopped by and said she used to live in our house in the 40's! That was interesting to hear for sure! She told us that there used to be front and back screen type porches. The one in the front is gone and so is the upper floor walk out porch on the back porch. There laso used to be a 2 car garage in the back, I wish it were still there.
It was really cool to listen to her talk about the house.
Any Margarita left, Sputnik?
