3 Virgin Canucks Looking For Camp

Post by curvy girl » Thu Aug 04, 2005 10:49 am

This will be our first burn and we are looking for some experienced burners to gently guide our experience. We can contribute to camp in whatever way we are needed. We are free-spirited, creative and hard working.

Namaste,
Jesse, Michael and Chance

Old Scam...

Post by swim_honu » Fri Aug 05, 2005 12:52 am

Curvy...

Nice Try! We have all heard of this old scam.

We all know you are just a group of kids from San Francisco trying to get a free ride with somebody who builds a nice camp and stuff. That ain't cool!

That aint what the burn is about...

Your plan

Post by swim_honu » Fri Aug 05, 2005 12:53 am

You are probably just gonna run around dropping the word "aboot" or faking some poor imitation Quebec-"Wah" every now and then and you'll try and trick us into thinking you are Canadian! I suppose you will try and act all nice and pleasant when you are really just putting on an act... I bet you are really just rude!

thanks for the humor, i find it beautiful that being canadian is something people would want to "fake." we are the real deal, eh. who would lie aboot such a thing? anyway, if you have a nice camp, we will drop by by and say "waw's up!"

Namaste,
Jesse

Yeah, I don't think anyone would want to fake being Canadian. Unless maybe you are an American living in Beruit or something.

All you need to do is hang out by the Center Camp cafe with all your stuff on the ground next to you holding a sign that says "Will Work For Camp" that should just about do it.

Thanks to all who have been gracious enough to offer up space for us. We have found a group of native canadians that we will be camping with, but we will be sure to drop by all the camps that extended invitions to give you a special thank you.

Namaste,
Jesse, Michael and Chance
