My Campmate found one on the Esplanade right in front of the Talk to God Phone Booth where I was speaking with God. And we promptly took it over to the Earth Guardians. Dusty Green in color, he was (not God). God had nothing to say about it. In fact, He (and he was a he at the time) wanted to know why it was so hot.

When I was packing up my camp in 2002, there was a mantis under my ground tarp! I freaked out, thinking I'd killed it, but it was alive and well. I got to thinking how it might've been there for the majority of the event, and how there are so many unknown layers of life below us.
