Over here http://www.makezine.com/ there's a link to a cheap air conditioning idea....basically, a fan that blows air over bottles of ice. Might prove viable, with a few playamods....What other ways to keep cool do YOU utilize?

Given the lifetime of ice on the playa, I'd say spritzing myself will work longer. :-> Or, we have a garden mister. Pump it up, rubber band the trigger so that it sprays, and put it upwind from us so it mists us as we lay there in comfort.

I've bult myself a solar powered swamp cooler. I'll try to post up some pics in the next couple days for you guys to check out.

Little solar powered garden fountain pump, PC fan, some corigated cardboard and some 3/4" ply. Presto!
