Except for during the barbecue, the view NEVER CHANGES.....So why do I have to look every hour or so?

Damn! I emailed my friend who is working in gerlach now to see if she could move "tuk tuk" so I would "win" in the moving the scooter poll, but she says its too heavy for her to move!

according to this DPW blog it sounds like yes. There was also a pic in the JRS speaks that Maid Marian sends out that had a photo from that night from the webcam...

2 bike riders pedalling through down-town gerlach heading east, 8/12/05, 1:49PM.

where are they going, I wonder? Are they on vacation, locals? Do they know burning man is coming or are they innocent by-standers? We will never know.

FLASH!

Saturday morning, 11:13am Pacific time

A shiny, way too clean dark blue car was seen blowing thru this sleepy desert town. Bets are on that it's not a local or a Burner, but someone completely different.
Eye witness accounts express doubt that they've stayed in town very long, possibly just slowing down to 35 mph while blowing past Bruno's.
What makes this observer so sure?

We can only hope she (Tuk Tuk) has gone onto bigger and better things. I'm hoping for playa metermaid, handing out tickets to art cars, bikes, tents, peds, bikers, and art. Dare we hope a "love note" to the man?
