Later I realized that everything happens the way it's suppose to happen. As it turned out, she went to my house and had an unexpected gloriously wonderful time with my daughter (her grandaughter) who had come home early from her trip. Both had been estranged for 8 years and got the opportunity to kiss and make up and have a great fucking time together!! (So, I guess indirectly, BM helped heal that relationship.)
Wow, that's awesome. Good for you.

This year, I'm attempting my first public theme camp. I'm hoping to find people to come participate. Everything else follows.
It's what you make it.

I'm just hoping to find something that will keep the Matrix plug from going back into my head. I pulled the plug about 18 months ago and have since refused all offers to come back into corporate bullshit society. But dammit, they just keep coming. I returned to the states in May but the way things are going, the plug will go back in unless I find a permanent method of keeping it out.

It's inevitable. It's axiomatic. It's evil. And it's not even fat-free.

i'm hoping to find inspiration to "be all that i can be", whoever that is. (i'm appropriating that expressioin from the army, because i think it's better suited to burningman)

by the way, ahchim namdongsang, are you by any chance korean, or korean-american, or lived in korea? i noticed your avatar is korean. i myself am a canadian living in korea right now, but will be going back home in a month to get ready for bm.

How most astute of you mullet. I'm just a poor Texas boy, but I spent a
year in Ulsan. I miss the place and the laid back lifestyle. I'd likely still be there if it weren't for the fact that I missed my family. Prepare for
reverse culture shock when you come back - the Land of the Free is the land of the Matrix to me. :)

been there, done that with the reverse culture shock. i've done over 2 years here, one in yeosu on the south coast, and one in seoul, and after my year at both places i went back to canada. it WAS really strange to see my home in a completely new light, and to appreciate the things (clean sitdown toilets comes to mind) that many countries in the world don't have. i'm about an hour outside seoul now, in a small town, and i have to say it's soooo boring and isolating. normally i'm not a forum kind of person, but i joined this one to get info on bm, but also to not feel so isolated and hopefully meet some cool people, that i can then meet on the playa.
it's kinda funny to hear you describe korea as laidback, that's not been my experience, i've found it to be the opposite. i sometimes consider this place as the matrix, the conformity, the obsession with wealth and social status, etc... (of course all of that is in western countries as well, but it seems to be a much more important thing here)

btw, what does your name mean? my korean is not too bad, but not fluent, that's for sure. all i can recognize is morning, south, east (dong?)...

I PM'ed the same thing to mullet, but yes, its true. I am the youngest brother of four, and mornings were always special at my place.

I'm no Korean, but spent time there. Love the place. Hope to see you on the playa.

I'm hoping to interact with considerably more than the .03% of the population that I interfaced with last year... A full 1% would be 350 people, so that'll be my minimum goal. 10% would be outstanding!!!

Last year (my first), I was stuck in 'ooohhhhhhh-aaaaah' mode, so hopefully I can change that.

Also, I'm hoping I can lure more folks into my quasi-theme camp. Playing with Legos and playing 'UNO' over assorted beverages is quite a hoot people! C'mon by!

I intend to teach "A GREAT MANY THINGS"

Post by JediDale » Thu Aug 11, 2005 9:20 pm

I have been studying for 3 years a certain discipline. I am looking for eager learner types to engage me in conversation. This conversation will take you where you want to go!
Obviously it would be nice to have an intimate encounter with a young nubile or 2!
Give the best gifts, spread as much happiness as I can, and partake in
unique activities as yet unknown. The "Force" is clouding this issue with me, which means anything fantastic may happen!

Genuinely,

JediDale
