howdy kids i was wondering if oranges would be a good thing to gift. i have acess to ton of them, my onlyconcearn is the peels do create alot of excees trash, any ideas, and has this been tried before? also greetings from vegas we probubly will have extra space in our trailer and am willing to share, send me a note if you have any comments or sweet talk love Sporty...

If you're willing to do the work and take the peels back for your compost heap--think orange juice! Make a pitcher first thing and gift to campmates and nieghbors to create that we all know each other and watch out for each other bribe. Make people use their own cups, if you like. Also, I bet that would go over real well in bars for screwdrivers and those things. MissNev might know better if oranges themselves are good in bars.

My fear would be that they don't last and end up squishy crud and that the peels and the SEEDS become trash on the playa.

So maybe seeds aren't a bad idea after all.
Any fresh food is a potential gooey mess if it isn't eaten promptly. Food with skin, rind, seeds, and such is a MOOP waiting to happen.
