MEDICINE STORAGE......

Post by tilt676 » Mon Aug 15, 2005 2:16 pm

I am coming to burning man with two people who need to take medicine and I am looking for some space in your fridge or rv where we could store a couple of pill bottles just so that they aren't subjected to temperatures about 80 degrees.....any help you can muster up would be greatly appreciated

thanks....feel free to email me [email protected]

I don't have access to refrigeration, but I will say that a cooler with dry ice can last a long time.

A cooler with dry ice would be too cold for most pills, being the other extreme of temperature to aviod. I keep mine in a dry cooler wrapped in a blankie locked inside a vehicle with shades across the windows. The insulation keeps the inside of the cooler at a reasonable temp, it does not become an oven especially if kept out of direct sunlight.

This also works for film, batteries and cosmetics.
